    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, 1st I finger-fubbed when I started this board and didn't notice I put 58, it should be 56....I dropped out of high school in March of 73 to "enlist" in the Marine Corps....during the draft, and no the fighting had not ended!!! at this point I don't question who you say you are...as I have no reason to think you would lie about it, since your identity does you no good anyway...so there would be no point in you lying about it...no one actually claimed you where lying anyway...they simply where stating they wouldn't be shocked if you where...I wouldn't be shocked if you where either.

for whatever services you may have preformed for this country...I respect that

Not that it's a "huge" deal, but instead of it seeming that Mr Hatcher "mistyped" the 1958 and meant 1956, it seems that the historical record says he was born in 1958, as he did put in as his birth date.

You've really dug a hole. And you're trying to build a reptile business and felt the best way to do so was NOT to post that you were unhappy with a transaction, but to "enhance" that with lies. Now that you've been exposed as lying, what recourse do you have? How is anyone supposed to believe that you are telling the truth about anything?

Do you realize how much any of this actually matters? because it doesn't matter much

even if you are who you say your are...that is the least of the issue right now.

I don't think there is much you can say at this point to make this story go back in your favor...even if you are who you say you are, since that doesn't matter anymore anyway
 
There where no new ground troops sent to Vietnam in '73..that was the start of vietnamization. You say say the draft in '73 eh...nope, less than 370 people were called into duty in all of '73 and I can promise you, none were recent HS drop outs.

So, yes, I do question your patronage...You Sir are a liar

I never said I was drafted, I said I "enlisted" during the draft.
I enlisted after going to the funeral of my best friend who was killed in Vietnam 5 weeks before! Thanks for letting me re-live this!!!!!!!

At the end of the day, you did it to yourself by trying to throw your service at people to justify yourself. Whether you did or did not serve, I am not sure of at this point, but I do know that an honorable vet. would not do such a thing.

I don't know if you served or not, but I served with great "honor", SIR! You can't take that away from me!

I reported a guy that lied 3 times on a transaction. In the course of that, I lied about a picture (bad me). Way before the picture....from the time I posted, everyone was beating on the poster, instead of the real liar here. If I get a bad deal again, I won't bother to warn others on Fauna. Let the buyer beware.

You that want to....go ahead and buy from ken....have at the mites ;-)
 
I agree with the above stated, your "service" has no bearing on this BOI... with saying that, I currently have 7 members of my family serving in 4 branches of our military... You are a disgrace. This BOI bad guy thread is also a disgrace. Nuff said.

.. I think what Denny did was very wrong and speaking from the heart if he's lying about his service to this country is disgusting. I have lost loved ones serving our country and anyone that lies about having a service record for personal gain or sympathy or any other reason really is disrespectful.
However, it doesn't change the fact that I still feel a Lot of unnecessary sarcasm and outright "meanness" for lack of a better word do exist in more BOI threads than not. Yea - Denny Joe is wrong for lying - but insulting him really doesn't accomplish anything IMO. I know ppl feel the same way I do bc they have sent private messages to me indicating so. I just think it gets very hostile here very fast.. And I think if only the facts were stated wout the addition of sarcasm, insults, and petty nonsense alot more would be accomplished. And as for staying away from the BOI if I don't like it? I have up until recently .. But got courageous and started posting to see how it went. I guess many of my initial feelings proved accurate. I'm a 25 year old only child - I do not have thicknskin and I do not like to see bullying or badgering no matter how much of a a-hole someone is. If ppl disagree with me .. Ok, that's fine. It's not me being on a high horse, it's simply bringing to the table that not everyone has skin of iron and if things were a bit less intense I think a lot more ppl would participate and give their input. I'm sure I'll get slammed for this too - and if ppl need to do that, I guess that's what's best for them.
 
I've got to say that I don't have the heart to keep going with this, even though indicators are that he's lying through his teeth. I just don't have the knowledge base to hound a possible war vet about his service...regardless of my personal level of disbelief. If I had a stronger background, and was absolutely certain that my info and opinions were correct, it might be a different story. If you served, and were injured in the line of duty, you have my thanks (that statement is not limited to Mr Hatcher).

Ah, hell, I can't walk away that easily....Mr Hatcher. You are claiming that you dropped out of high school in 1973 (at the age of 16), got into the Marines, and were overseas in time to sustain serious injuries in Vietnam. (not likely, but perhaps not "impossible")
You've commented about your dead mother and dead grandmother being brought into this thread....Your grandmother who had the AUX email that you set up (similar to your own) - which makes sense because your facebook page states "Has worked at AUXware Intl. Inc". Now, before you deny that being your page, the link Theresa posted lists your mother's DOB and DOD - making her 49 when she passed. Your facebook page indicates that your mother died at 49......where am I going with this???

I'd really hate to be wrong on this, but since you admitted that that was your mother, and your grandmother, it would seem to be too big a coincidence for another Denny Joe Hatcher to have had his mother pass at 49, and to be of the age that you registered here.

What it comes down to is, as has been said before, it doesn't matter at this point. Regardless of what we might think about your original claim, and the situation that precipitated it, you've shot yourself in the foot.

BTW - regarding your website - you've got an awful lot of Out Of Stock babies, considering you just got your first ball pythons and blue tongues a short time ago. I know it's because you are planning on quick growth in your breeding hobby...but still. Why have things listed, and labeled out of stock if you've never even bred the species before? Finger flubbing again? or simply being less than honest?
Oh, and bumblebees and spinners are NOT hybrids.
 
Natalie, it appears that the BOI worked perfectly in this case. Facts were brought forward and everybody can make their own decision about the veracity of the parties involved. There has been no proof whatsoever the Ken did anything warranting a bad guy thread, and the OP admits to lying and stealing photos from the web to bolster his case. I may have missed it, but I don't recall seeing insults hurled at the OP. I see people questioning his word and his ethics, because he was caught by a Fauna member lying. He brought those questions upon himself with his actions. I personally am satisfied with the outcome of this thread and think I know who the bad guy is.

:rofl: You reported a guy lied. YET no proof was posted that showed Ken lied. YOU on the other hand was proven as a liar!!

Ken had asked prior if anyone who had purchased from him would describe the packaging and what was included. I received my gecko in the white box with 3/4" foam, inside was an invoice with Ken's logo, name,address, a description of the animal purchased, price, shipping cost, total and also stapled to the front of the invoice is a copy of my credit card receipt.

It is always amazing and wonderful to see the true bad guys found out and discredited. Willow you did a good job!
 
I smell a conspiracy to try and get free money. After overlooking the site that is his, looks like hes clueless in reptiles.

Spinner ball Python a Hybrid, seriously. This should be enough to see he dont know what hes talking about.

Infested with mites, yet it took the vet time to actually find ONE. Which i hardly believe a vet was involved. Using stolen pictures to prove a point, why you say you have mites in your cage, take picture of that.
 
I don't doubt the mites because I've gotten them myself from kens animals and maybe he should be shipping you a can of proventamite but I would never expect a seller to pay a vet bill for someone who doesn't know how to probe a snake to sex it. It is not the sellers responsibility to know the buyers skill level or lack there of. And almost every seller has the same policy around refunds that the shipping is non-refundable so nothing out of the ordinary there. However, if infact you did get the wrong sex which you specifically asked for then I think that Ken should be responsible for shipping you the replacement after you ship the original wrong one back.
 
I agree with you kingsnake - this did have a great outcome, willow I def appreciate your research bc that certainly helped alot. And maybe you don't agree, I just don't like to throw the word scumbag and other variations of it around, period. But that's just me! I'm happy that the truth was discovered bc here I was feeling bad for Denny bc, while I thought the initial reason for the bad guy thread (the snakes not being clearly marked as to sex when shipped) was trivial, I did initially believe he received snakes w mites. There were some harsh comments about Denny being in the wrong hobby bc he couldn't sex his own snakes and for being frugal -- and it made me feel kind of bad for him bc I didn't think there was any malicious intent behind his motives - just the normal "newbie" behaivors and emotions (i.e. Embellishing the truth, making mountains out of mole hills, countless excuses for everything) iknow that is not the case now and I do feel like Denny has brought this on himself.. Still, no matter what, I don't believe in calling anyone a scumbag. But once again, Denny, ya brought this on yourself and I hope in the future you uphold the saying "honesty is the best policy" - a man is only as good as his word (and his last transaction when it comes to business). You may REALLY get scammed in the future - and if I were you I'd be very cautious who you deal with from this point forward bc you are a perfect target for scammers having "cried wolf" - and if you bring it here to the BOI to be heard and for help - no one is going to help or believe you - believe it or not, I've seen threads from 2003 come back to nip ppl in the butt when they seek help and retribution from this forum. I wish Denny the best - no ill intentions, but even I, an eternal optimist, would proceed with extreme caution if there ever came a point you tried to do business with me.
