In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I believe its 2.50 for the first $100 which covers late deliveries. But I would have to double check.

I looked it up and that's right. It's so odd that they charge for late delivery insurance considering Fed Ex already guarantees that on overnight.

FedEx will not refund you for late packages on snakes. They will not refund you for dead snakes caused by late packages. ProExotics did not just make up a charge. They actually have the ability to refund when FedEx will not.

I know Fed Ex doesn't cover dead snakes however I'm almost sure they will refund shipping cost if late. UPS will refund on late overnight shipping.

Ok got done checking with Fed Ex and they will refund any late overnight shipment. That's why I don't understand the reason SYR is charging $2.50 for on-time arrival insurance only... when they use Fed Ex.

I would call them again and bring up "Acts of God". I've had FedEx refuse to refund me for overnight shipments (Live Animals and not) on several occassions due to delays that they claimed were not their fault, therefore, they owe nothing. They also, very quickly, change their tune when they find out what was in the box. If a live animal is in the box, they do not care about refunding anything.

I have had several "Acts of God" shipments not be refunded or even adjusted due to being late... Weather is the main culprit.

Yeah Fed Ex and UPS can use the "Acts of God" excuse. I must be good at talking or a real ***** when it comes to complaining because so far they have did what I want... other than they have to refund the person that directly paid them which sucks because then you have to try and get it back from the shipper which I've found tends to lie to keep the refund. LMAO
