    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We just put a deposit on this girl! I couldn't pass her up. Her contrast is absolutely stunning! :)

We're getting this girl from Ashley Wright (dragonheart718 here on Fauna). Thanks so much Ashley! The pictures posted were taken by her.

Money has been tight so Ashley let us do a small payment plan. But good news! My boyfriend got his new job today and it's also busy season so we'll be set and on the market to get more girls!

But the bad news is that we're having to redo our entire female Ball Python collection after a thermostat incident we had about a week ago. The only two survivors were two males in a separate rack...all of our females were lost. :(

Hopefully we can find some great deals on quality girls. If anyone is producing Mojaves, Black Pastels, Enchis, Calicos and Mystics, please let me know! :)

Thanks! Yeah it's been really hard...we almost wanted to get out of Ball Pythons all together but we're hanging in there. This new job should help a lot. I can't wait to get a new rack filled with new snakes!

It really sucks...I can only imagine how everyone feels over at PE. :(

One of the worst things about it is that it caused a lot of trouble with one of my customers that I sold one of the females to. I work really hard at building my rep and that had me terrified. :(

But we have somewhat of a fresh start! It sucks that we have to raise up more females though.

I was wondering though, did the thermostat go out and it get too hot? Or did everything shut off and they go cold?

I am sure I'm not the only one when I say this is a huge fear of mine :(

I think it had more to do with the outlet we were using...I'm not quite sure how electrical things work...but the outlet had burn marks on it so I'm thinking that was the start of it. The thermostat was still working, but the display was all jumbled...like it got fried some how. The rack was over heated and the tubs melted...a couple of the tubs made contact with the snakes. :( We're lucky nothing caught on fire!

Thanks! We're definitely hanging. I'm so happy that my boyfriend and even my family is supporting me so much with rebuilding the collection. :)

It was a Johnson Controls Thermostat. But like I said, I think it started with the outlet and not the thermostat. We had just moved the rack to our new home and that was the first time we used that outlet.

:( I lost an animal too...... My absolute favorite mojo girl got baked :bawling:
I seriously cried for like a week straight!!!!! (I did get a very nice brand new therm with an alarm and all from reptile basics so it wont happen again!) I hope you can find some gorgeous girls to put back in your collections Im so sorry :(

Just last week our heater never shut off and the water in our snakes bowls got really hot. One snake almost died because she was in her water bowl :( I'm so lucky we didn't lose any. But this is a great way to start rebuilding! I wanted this snake sooo bad. Congrats! :D

Oh no! I've never imagined something like that happening. How is the girl doing now? I had one girl that was bent on rearranging her tub and loved to move her water bowl over the heat tape. I always caught it and moved it but I finally ended up rigging it down in place with tape because I couldn't find a heavy enough crock for her. >.<

I'm hoping to have all my dream snakes by February/March of next year. I'm sure some will have to wait do to cold weather though. But the hard part will be finding a stopping limit when it comes to buying. HAHA! And thanks! :D

Your welcome! And thanks! It's been hard, but I can't give up on a passion I've had since I was a child...although back then it was more like catching garter snakes and fence lizards in my neighborhood as a hobby. :rofl:

She's here! And she's doing awesome! She arrived yesterday. She shed and defecated last night and took a big rat pinky for me just now! She's gorgeous...crazy amounts of silver flames on her. She's going to be a big stunner! I'll take some pictures once she's settled in. :)
