    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy David Huffman of Virginia(BAD TRADE)

I live like 30 mins from woodbridge, and my gangster cousins live there, I should get them to whoop this dudes ass, thats just messed up. It doesn't get any lower...

If you wish to participate here long I'd cut out the profanity. Just a friendly warning because I got hit with an infraction for it myself.
 
Got a call back a little over a week ago, my issue had been put to the side and was brought back again. He asked if the issue was settled or not and I said there had been no change. So it's just sit-and-wait till the Inspector tells me when the court date will be. :/

Kelsey, it sounds like you may be the one to put this guy in front of the law. I hope that's the case. Good luck with it - I, along with others I'm sure, are rooting for you.

I don't know if I missed it or not, but did you try contacting his local police department and making a complaint there too? I would also suggest complaining to his ISP that he is using their services for illegal activity and fraud. If you need help determining what his ISP is, I can help you with that and steer you in the right direction - just drop me a PM.

Keeping documentation of all these actions should help in court. If you complain to his ISP and they take action against his internet connection then he may be stopped from scamming for now.
 
Update:

I won't say the situation-for fear of violating HIPPA- but Huffman was out of the loop for a while. When he found out there was a warrant for his arrest, a woman called me and said that the money had been wired and could be picked up immediately. I got the money, then checked back in saying that while yes, I got my money back, it was up to the law enforcement to remove the warrant or take the next step. I contacted the investigator with the update, and Huffman will still be tried for attempted postal fraud.

I just got the date, and the hearing is on the morning of November 15th in Manassas, VA. So I may need to spend one night in Virginia.

Hopefully this whole thing will be closed in a couple weeks!

He may have helped himself a little by paying it off at the last second, but the Judge will see right through that. I'm truly happy to see him being held accountable!

If you need a place to crash for a night, I may be able you put you up. I'm about 40 minutes from the Manasass court house. You are welcome to have the investigator contact me he he wants more background on Huffman. I'd even be happy to testify if needed.

I just stumbled upon this thread, and love internet justice! lol

I live up closer to baltimore and have family in Fredericksburg (right out side of woodbridge) If I had any means by which to help you with, I would, I promise.

This guy is a scumbag.

Let me preface this by saying, this is not a threat of physical violence in any way, shape, or form...

However, I go to the Hamburg shows and Timonium shows. If I see this guy, you can best believe I will tell him about himself. You guys said he was the one with the Tattoo on his face, correct? I'm not scared of this guy, he won't do any harm,physically, to me, and he'll get an earful.

I don't post here often, but I read. I read, and I respect these people here. They do good by people, and they try to do good for people and the herp community.
 
I am so glad that there is a court date... I do however believe that if the investigator is aware of this thread, hopefully the judge will be in the know of it during the case and will see all of the scamming he has done to people and will serve him justice! Keep us posted after the court hearing!!!
 
I'll keep you all posted! This court date is bad timing for me since I move to a different part of Columbus here in a few weeks, but I will suck up the expensive plane tickets to see this guy in court.
 
Unless he's in custody, I wouldn't count on seeing him in court....
(Just my opinion)
