    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy JIM TALIAFERRO IS A THIEF, DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN 3 YOUR KIDS!!!

Searching his phone number it seems he is peddling a lot of stuff currently. Vacuum cleaners, tools you name it. Shouldn't be to hard for someone to make contact.

It is just a paper complaint but anything that lays down a paper trail may help those coming after you in the future.

There are just no words for someone who would knowingly rip off kids :(

I wish that someone who has a snake for sale like what the kid was wanting would offer a good deal, maybe if we all pitched in a little....it just seems sad that a kid was done this way.....
 
I can't believe that someone would do this, especially to a child. Hopefully, someone local to that area can get your snakes back from this POS. He sounds like he has no job, so he is making money where he can get. Even if that means scamming people .... I also doubt this person has experiance with hots. He probabley had someone local want those exact animals and he didn't have them so he scammed you to get them. Good luck!
 
Thanks but not awesome. Just been on the receiveing end of a crappy stick and so many nice ppl have offered help to me so.... my turn to try to help when and where I can :)

Plus, this happening to kids? After all the work they did to get the money to do this? That aint right! Not right at all. That guy should be taken out behind the wood shed!
 
this "guy" (low life worthless person, actaully) will get his.

not surprising though in this day and age of no morals, ethics, common decency and just doing the right thing. i hope someone (here maybe) finds him and, well, handles the situation, then turns sorry ass into authorities for some more fun times
 
pm me his address and I'll see what I can do for you. I just got screwed on a deal myself so I know what you are going through. The fact that he did it to a kid just makes it that much worse. Difference is this sob lives close enough for me to stop in and say hello ;).
 
I can't tell you all how much we appreciate all the support and kind words, especially Aaron and Dee Anna (Lucille is right, your both awesome!!) It's caring people like you that help restore peoples faith in the reptile community. That being said, i would hate for anyone to trade their animals or spend their hard earned money because of what Jim did to us. I would much rather Jim Tailaferro be a man, own up to his obligation, send us the female blue eyed lucy, return our animals, or pay for the snakes he received. Both Ciara and Justin have named the spider ball Jim sent us Survivor, and have been working very hard to nurse it back to health. at least now it has a good home where it will get all the love and attention it deserves. I just want to make sure everyone know what kind of person Jim really is and hopefully make sure he doesn't do this again.
