I bought a Pewter from Michael and I had no problems. He was very professional and returned all my texts and phone calls. The pewter arrived on time and is in geat health. Before any of you get all round up about me buying from him I just want to add that I don't buy from just anyone. I'm a police officer and I'm always suspicious of other people especially who I buy from. I have not found anyone that has been scammed from Michael and I have no problem buying from him again. Just my two scents.

I'm glad you like the pewter. Let me guess - you bought a 600+ gram male pewter from Michael that he advertised for about $450. If that is the one, look closely and I bet the picture I attached below is the exact snake you have in your rack now.

He is a very nice pewter.

However, being a police officer can you please tell me if the following scenario is fraud? A person sells someone a 825 g pewter female and then ships them a 600 g male snake? Where I come from that is called fraud and that is what Michael did in my case.

If you have the pewter male, he is very nice and should do a good job for me, he just couldn't produce eggs for me by breeding with my killer bee male.

I understand that if there was something that went terribly wrong it has since been fixed. THAT WAS OVER A MONTH ago.

Why continue to bring up a subject that is dead. Do you harbor some resentment or is there somethng else you really want from this person? If so contact him and ask him. this is getting really old....

I understand what you are saying, but the subject is not dead, because some people simply want a "good" deal. The seller doesn't need to scam EVERYBODY, just a few people, and be honest with a few suckers to keep them coming back and defending him.

Can anybody explain why the same people are always jumping on the bandwagon and slamming people over every little deal that wasnt "perfect"....I'm not sure what the big deal is here because the guy received resolution to the initial issue....Why is it that this guy is being labeled a bad guy or a scammer? It simply doesnt make sense....What amuses me the most is that most of the members on here crucifying Michael (and no, I dont know him) tend to take the negative side to everything....I'm quite certain that everybody on here is imperfect....The deal was resolved, the snake was returned, the money was recouped, the seller has this post on record, and everybody has had their two-cents regarding it.....I feel like I'm in a room with a bunch of teenage girls hating on another girl that isnt in the room...I bet my $@& that if one of you negative posters wanted something he had you'd buy it......Maybe it's just fun for you to pretend that you're some super ethical high standing member of society that loves casting that first, second, and third stone....let it go for heavens sake.....................SEEMS LIKE ALMOST ALL THE POSTS ON HERE ARE CHALKED FULL OF NEGATIVITY.......is it that more people are doing bad things or is there just an overwhelming urge for people to bitch and complain about every little thing....maybe I'm just not as high strung...or maybe I'm just blind? The guys new hes going to make some mistakes. Its threads and bashes like this on a new seller/hobbyist that makes me not even want to get into the hobby. I could understand a boi post like mites, bacterias, green poop for weeks, dead in box, but when something simple gets overlooked you dont have to sit here and bash the guy into wanting to give up his hobby thats screwed up. The reasons above are why I wont buy from any Krick. I havent heard of any sick animals from this guy, just minor genetic defects. A simple thing as overlooking a flaw whether in the ad or not, he talked to the serious buyers and got it straightened out. Thats a sign of great customer service, and the fact hes responding to these posts means hes really trying to get his hobby/business going.

Keep it up brother dont let them get you down. I could understand the paranoia some of these people have, some stories I've heard of people in the industry had is unbelieveable, this is really no big deal blown up into a huge ordeal. Molehill made into a mountain.

Already have. I bought from him before this thread started and after this tread started. I got the exact snakes I was supposed to get, happy and healthy. And I still keep in touch even now. He had good service, and answered all my questions and requests. Didn't have a problem with mike, and may get something else from him in the future.

My apologies. The part in quote has nothing to do with Micheal. It is just something that is on my mind because I happen to be dealing with it at the moment with someone else.


Micheal, I do not know what is currently going on with you. But if you truly are trying to make a change for the better, remember that honesty is the best policy. Just be honest dude.

Exactly! In a court of law Attempted Thief is still a crime as is Thief by Deception.

I learned a long time ago, that having a liar/thief for a friend did not mean that my "friend" would not also lie to me if the opportunity for gain presented itself.

But it is a fact that even convicted criminals CAN change, but criminals that are attempting a change do not continue to deny that they attempted to steal/lie. But then it's all in the "perception" of the ones reading the thread as Michael never admitted to anything once caught in "mistakes" that couldn't possibly be honest mistakes.

The final analysis is that the thread is here to HELP those that are undecided to possibly make an informed decision with the information that was brought out by the "bashing" It is not here to prevent Micheal from selling ever again. So, no one actually has to come to this thread and moan about how difficult MEMBERS here made Michael's life (completely overlooking that he brought it on himself).

I would say yes. It seems you have an issue with not seeing things that are right in front of you, written in plain English.

Can't we let this issue die. He has had two bad deals. That went south. One had to do with a kink in the tail. From what I read he emailed and called the Guy as soon as he realized it. Next was a Mis-sex and weight. Even that it was resolved. To me fraud and theft would have NOT return any money or any Snake or communication. Not anyone here posting can honestly say they have NOT made a mistake with herps. Please let this die. Maybe he wants to prove he can make this right or to learn from this. Quit be so self righteous and judgemental and let people try to move on. He obviously had allot of people who has done good deals with him. Funny. It would have been more than one bad deal with a kinked animal. We were never notified of that, and were minutes from sending the money. We're lucky we passed on the pastel last minute, from thinking it would brown out....

I am not sure which deal you are referring to, because unlike what SOME of the members think...unless Micheal's threads are brought back to the top by someone whining about how he was treated (wow...some need to get a clue?) I don't even think about him or his business.

Deborah - I'm not willing to link to the thread at this time, as I deleted it because it was not really appropriate as a BOI thread....the comments that person made to me via PM seemed to suggest some fairly BOI relevant things, however. I was hoping the person would add those comments here (well - half hoping, initially...but given some of the recent posts, it might give some people something to think about). I do feel it is his choice whether or not to reveal the details.
