So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

FUNNY HOW YOU SAY I MADE THIS SITUTATION DO YOU REMEMBER ALL OUR PHONE CONSERVATIONS I STATED I NEEDED THE RACKS BY 12/01/2011 AND EVERY TIME YOU SAID NO PROBLEM EVEN WHEN I ADDED TO THE ORDER SO MAYBE THAT IS WHY I STARTED A DISPUTE IN 3 WKS NOT 2. AFTER YOU AND ANGELA BOTH TOLD ME MY RACKS WERE SHIPPED VIA PHONE AND EMAIL ( CAN SEND IT TO YOU TO JOG YOUR MEMORY IF NEED BE). AND AS TO THE THREATNING LETTERS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. So, I had the choice of contacting paypal and my cc company and dropping the dispute because if I didn't, I had to wait even longer for them to complete their investigation and Sean is on record here and with paypal saying he will give me the charge back. So I cancelled my dispute with paypal 2 days ago and followed up with my cc company today because they still had the case open. I've notified Sean twice earlier today that I have completed what I need to do so he can go ahead with the charge back...and guess what? I'm still waiting for my charge back.

i will say this there is a 3-5 day grace period from the time a refund is returned till it hits your credit card.

bad move,u should of let him refund you within paypal before the disputed ended,once you end a charge back sean don't have to refund you since you closed it YOURSELF and there is nothing you can do now.

now you claim that she did a charge back with paypal which effected you am i right?to prove and show everyone here that the claim is still open you would see a minus in your account on paypal or negative balance because of the charge back done through the cc company you should at least take a ss and show her that your account still shows this

I am not showing you or anyone here anything from Paypal, that is plain ridicules. Leah knows she can call Paypal and ask the resolution specialists if I have the ability to issue the refund yet. She has done it already and can easily do it again.

I am still mystified how many people chime in on things they do not understand. And how people like to add fuel to a fire. I am sure if Leah calls Paypal and hears something different then what I am telling her she will tell this forum!

just going by MY PERSONAL experience.as stated before i remember i did a charge back a long time ago with my chase bank which was linked to my paypal account,i cancelled the charge back and instantly everything was cancelled on both ends.but what ever you say.hopefully it gets resolved
 
Ok, my 2 cents. By all appearances it would seem that Sean is trying to make things right with Leah and is simply waiting for paypal & the credit companies to update each other. I don't know that continuing to criticize him on this situation is going to solve anything. Leah will know within the next couple of business days the truth one way or another and I'm sure she will update us. I hope for both parties that this can be resolved quickly. I am sure they are both sick of it by now.
 
Yeah....while my decision has yet to be fully made on Sean, I know a couple of buyers I'd want to stay away from the way they have behaved here. I'm all for holding someone's feet to the fire, but continuing to argue with someone who is trying to make things right is a definite character indicator....and not in a good way.

Be honest and always communicate with the customer. If a project is going to take longer, then explain to them how your going to do whatever it takes to get it done and follow through. Sometimes we have to go far and beyond, putting in extra hrs to get things done on time. It will always payoff in the end.


I hope the next time I see your name it will be for a good guy thread.
 
Mike, that's your opinion of which you are entitled too. You don't know me and IMO are not qualified to judge me or my character. The charge back as of an hour ago has not been completed. In all fairness to Sean, this was paypals fault. They had notice and failed to complete the dispute. As of a half an hour ago, my bank has stepped in and completed the charge back FINALLY. I truly hope nobody has to go through the frustrations like I have with this transaction, (poor customer service, threats of litigation, lies, and complete waste of time) like I have.

I read your post right the first time thank you. I gave Sean plenty of notice before I went public with my greivance. Perhaps you didn't read this entire thread and most people don't at this point as it is very lengthy. So judge me if you will, you haven't walked in my shoes through this what you think, insinuate or post about my character doesn't concern me. What does concern me is my experience with LST Exotics and the fact that there will never be another one.

SO WHAT ARE YOU SAYING WHEN A SELLER LIES TO YOU NOT ONCE BUT TWICE THAT YOUR PRODUCTS HAVE SHIPPED NOT GOING TO THAT THEY HAVE SHIPPED AND THEY HAVEN'T.THEN AFTER LYING WONT GIVE YOU A REFUND YOU CERTAINLY WOULD NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THAT PERSON OR COMPANY. It certainly appears that Sean has lied, and that has definitely had an impact on my decision as to whether or not to do business with him. I need racks, and have yet to order from anyone, and this is the primary reason.

As for what I stated, it had nothing to do with who you do or do not do business with. I made the statement I did because certain people on this thread acted in such an unhinged and unprofessional manner.
 
From any business standpoint, if you open a claim on a product that you have paid for and are waiting on that product to be built or be shipped, why would anyone ship the item or continue to build it? that person would be out the money, the materials, and the labor if they continued to build and ship the item. If there is a hold on your paycheck, would you continue working for free and just hope that you get paid? You can't dispute money through a cc company and paypal and expect him to do anything for you. He has to wait until it clears up. And once you try and get your money back for an item that he is working on for you why would he keep working on it until all matters are cleared? If you don't want it anymore than he's not going to build it for you and waste his time, money, and resources. My two cents...

On another note, for people who purchase animals before you have anywhere to put them and then expect others to perform miracles to correct your mistakes, please stop. Get your tanks or racks before you get the animals that have to suffer without them.

Just to comment on what was said above by Andrew, I didn't purchase the animals. They were born here and were in cups and needed to eventually be moved into shoebox racks. At the time of purchase, I was told I had to wait for 3 weeks and that was not a problem at that time. Three weeks tuned into well over two months. In the meantime, since I was getting jerked around by LST, I purchased what I needed from another rack builder who had my racks delivered in 8 days. Also, I openend a claim because the item failed to ship repeatedly and I got no response to emails and phone calls for weeks. Get the facts before you are so quick to judge.

IN WHICH HIS FALSE PROMISES PUT ME IN THE SITUTATION OF NOT HAVING A RACK FOR QUARANTINE. I WAS NOT ASKING FOR A MIRACLE WAS TOLD I WOULD RECIEVE IT BY THEN. THAT SAID THE PREOWNED RACK HAD SOLD BY 12/01/2011 WHICH SEANS FALSE PROMISES AND LIES PUT ME IN THIS SITUTATION. CORRECT I DID DISPUTE THE CHARGE AND I DID NOT WONDER WHERE MY STUFF WAS BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH A LIER. HOW IN THE HELL WOULD IT PUT A HOLD ON MY ORDER BEING BUILT IF IT WAS SHIPPED OUT TWICE PRIOR TO THE DISPUTE BEING FILED.
