Info cheddarchad; Chad Pickens

[Snake-Queen]

This is for informational purposes, I am not saying Chad is a bad guy.
He is currently trying to sell 2 albino RTB "females". He has been trying to sell/trade these since 1/22/12 when he posted his first add about them.

I inquired about these, as I have easy access to live feeders and have successfully converted all my snakes (except 2 ETBs) to F/T; so I was not worried about being able to feed them.

The majority of our contact was a phone call or two. I do have some texts between us. I am not mad at Chad, because we couldn't come to an agreement. I am posting this, because I feel he is misrepresenting the snakes currently.

In our phone conversation, he told me he got these from a breeder that was getting out of the business and was feeding them live mice (which he bred). I was also told that since he had them, he had only gotten them to eat a few times & they refused to eat f/t.

Shortly after he decided he could do better elsewhere, he posted this add.

The final coup de grâce, was his most recent add filled with untruths (based on what he told me on the phone.) I just don't see how he has fed them 4 times, in a couple of weeks.

They don't look to be in very good condition in the pics posted. Incredibly thin and with how young they are, I would have to wonder how well they are "thriving". Seems he just wants to dump them.

I inquired about another boa he had for sale the other day but got a bad feeling about it. Looks to have been accurate.

After he got so indecisive on which snake he wanted, I was leery, but worried about the snakes. :S I was still willing to trade with him, up until the last text about MONEY & how he could get more for his.

I have nothing to lie about, at first they would only eat live , but now they WILL eat frozen, so find something better to do then post pics of our text and stuff, get a life. Oh and by the Way . They r sold ..... Thank u for being so interested in me...

Honestly it didnt seem like you really cared for the well being of the snake. It seems that your concern was more or less of what you could get off of them. Or what you could trade for. Why would you take them in in the first place if you didnt have access to the kind of food they are currently eating?

If you read the entire add it was stated you were not being made to be a bad guy just looking for info on you. But then you come out with bullets shooting telling people to shut up and telling them they are jealous because you wouldnt sell to them. Making your self out to be someone not to do business with.

Reptile can who r u , and what do u have to do with me, If someone wants to try to make me look bad, I will voice my opinion and u want to have an attitude, is that supposed to intimidate someone, u don't know me , so don't go there, I took them on because I thought I would have access to the food but brazoz feed in Waco to stopped selling them small enough, so Instead of just letting them die off I figured I would sell them to someone with more experience and has access to food, I would say that is caring about there well being... U don't know me or the situation and if u have something to say to me , u can call me 254 523 7533 ..... Don't even go there with me little buddy!!!!!

Matt this was good but know I shipped them priority over night and they have put on weight since Tht pic,,, they did look bad and had eating problems , I was totally honest about that and they started eating great... I did nothing to know body, I think this whole boi forums is for people with know life and want to feel some sort of existence, cus they have know one to talk too, but I'll pray for u guys,

Oh just another member of fauna.... Not trying to make you look bad just voicing my opinion and no I have no idea who you are and Im pretty happy about that. If I have something to say Ill say it here, it is a forum after all. Im not the one with the attitude either by the way.

I have never seen a snake eat every 4 days, not saying that they can't, just never seen it happen.

Just in case you missed the FIRST sentence.

If everyone would reference text numbers 13 & 14, you will see the dates that he inquired about the boa I was offering for trade on the 31st, which is 3 days after he posted his second ad.

I am not jealous, I currently have 5 albino boas, a DH sunglow, a het salmon and 2 adult boas. I was worried about the snakes and I was going to add them to my collection, not re-sell. So no, I am not jealous Chad.

All you have successfully done is made yourself look like a bad guy.

Well, let's see ... instead of approaching an inquiry such as this in a calm and mature manner, you automatically went on the defensive, began insulting people, using lewd language and began attacking others.

You do not dispute that you are okay with "power feeding" animals who are clearly malnourished and not in an ideal condition by any stretch of the imagination and probably should not even be shipped in that manner, let alone sold to someone. Not that "power feeding" healthy animals is something anyone should partake in either.

You clearly only view the animals as dollar signs, and that is evident in everything you stated in your ads, the text messages and whatever else offered here.

You are also partaking in threats of bodily harm to indivudals on a web forum. So, you know ... whatever reputation you may hope to have or need in the future with the industry is pretty much being beaten into a pulp.

P.S. You may not have done anything to any human, but you clearly failed those little albinos.
