Hey POT, did this end good for Stu?
He said he was "pleased", that is happy. Hey I'm not saying anything bad about Stu, he was completely right in every part of this. The coustomer usually always is, but if the point of this was to get a refund, not to get healthy snakes and he got it. That is a good ending. No need to defend the facts!

In my opinion, no, it did not. He wanted the snakes much more than he wanted to money, otherwise he wouldn't have spent the money in the first place for them. And what price can you put on the time and hassle he has had to go through during all of this just to get (most of) his money back into his pocket?

One of the points of this BOI is that a refund wasn't forthcoming UNTIL there was pressure put on him. I think the true point of this that people should not deal with Jerry! The fact that you keep trying to distort and redefine words Stu used (which I'm sure were chosen VERY carefully), just shows me that you are looking to turn this into a "Look Jerry did what he was supposed to" thread. That simply is not going to happen because he did not do what he was supposed to do.
NO, that could not be further from the truth. How could this end "good" for Stu? Just because he FINALLY got his money back (granted in two separate payments which is unacceptable IMO), does not mean this ended good for him. He exposed his collection to zonata disease unnecessarily, had to deal with the stress of sick snakes that he was hoping would make it, THEN had to deal with an uncooperative seller, and finally has to continually restate that this did NOT END GOOD for him to Jerry's supporters.
That about sums it up.
More opinions, not facts. The ZD poped up after the fact, not shipped showing signs. It's very common and most Zonata keepers have had or will have it. it doesn't mean you whole collection is infected.

As for the deal, I'm not defending that. In think Stu was more than in the right and deserved his refund. I'm not talking about that, it's about it ending with Stu getting a refund and not getting told to go to hell(a good ending).
So my opinion is not acceptable unless I'm trying to smear someone I only know from online? I do not remember saying anything about what kind of person he is or the good things he has done for me. I'm just saying that at the end of this transaction he did the right thing and refunded Stu. That is my opinion.
Stu, you should feel happy you got a refund, plenty of people have been screwed out of there money in similar situations, even when posted here. Good luck with the rest of your animals. I will leave it to the many now, I have to go look for eggs.

Absolutely no spinning. I didn't comment if I was in agreement with the comments or not. I simply stated he didn't attack the man's family as someone else stated and that is a FACT, Steve. But since you brought it up, there was nothing negative at all about the " family" in that post and several of you went overboard in your reaction to it.
Matter of fact, I pretty much stated the exact same thing in another thread on here. I stated to Mr. Wise who stole the funds that were donated to the children and wife of a member of this site that passed away that I hope one day his children finds the thread and reads what he has done. I meant it and wouldn't change a word.
Obviously, this is a different situation. One can agree or not agree that it wasn't right for someone state that "your kid might read this someday" but that isn't a overly harsh statement and you and others are absolutely ridiculous to make such a big deal about it.
My personal opinion of Jerry from what I have learned as this transaction has progressed here is that Jerry is untrustworthy and a liar. If I thought that his actions might be honest, I might mention, " Hey, you sure you want to do that? Someone might read this one day." I'd do it. Let's just wait and see if Stu gets all his funds back first.
AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH! Jerry, come back!!!!!
This thread was successful, a long time ago, in letting people make a rational judgement as to whether to deal with these guys in the future or not. All the information needed has been presented.

Really? You are still harping on that, despite (2) moderator interventions on the subject?.....despite (2) people receiving short term bans? The point is that there was no reason to mention a mans son since he has nothing to do with the subject matter. Anyone who sees nothing wrong with that needs help.

Before you send that threatening email or text message, or scream in anger at someone over the phone, you should take a deep breath and stop to consider whether you might actually be committing a crime by doing so. A person is guilty of this crime, when, with intent to harass, annoy, threaten or alarm another person, he or she:
1. Either (a) communicates with a person, anonymously or otherwise, by telephone, by telegraph, or by mail, or by transmitting or delivering any other form of written communication, in a manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm; or (b) causes a communication to be initiated by mechanical or electronic means or otherwise with a person, anonymously or otherwise, by telephone, by telegraph, or by mail, or by transmitting or delivering any other form of written communication, in a manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm; or
2. Makes a telephone call, whether or not a conversation ensues, with no purpose of legitimate communication; or
3. Strikes, shoves, kicks, or otherwise subjects another person to physical contact, or attempts or threatens to do the same because of a belief or perception regarding such person’s race, color, national origin, ancestry, gender, religion, religious practice, age, disability or sexual orientation, regardless of whether the belief or perception is correct; or
4. Commits the crime of harassment in the first degree and has previously been convicted of the crime of harassment in the first degree as defined by section 240.25 of this article within the preceding ten years.
