    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i recently purchased a veiled chameleon she is eating well on small krickets and mill worms, but i have noticed her right nostril is slightly bigger or swollen as opposed to her left nostril. i have googled it but have not found anything on it. i am not new to reptiles but to chams yes, and would appreciate any help/advice. thank you all for your time, and i will post a pic shortly!

ok, here are some pics, and it does not seem to be getting bigger, and has remained just slightly larger than the other nostril since i have had her

What is your set up like. Light wise what's on the bottem of the cage style of cage and what feeders are you feeding and gutloading with. Also what kind of supplement schedule do you have her on. And how long are your mistings? Sorry for all the questions but all that will give me a better idea of what may be causing the issue.
 
she is being fed small krickets, being misted twice daily, paper towels are being used as substrate, she is under uva/b light 50w, on a 10 hr light cycle, i am powdering her krickets, the enclosure is a 17x13x11. i was told not to put her in a bigger enclosure until she is bigger, she is very small right now.

i had someone tell me it might be a spider bite. but idk, it seems to be getting better, not as pink and puffy.

could be some sort of nasal infection. It could also be possibly be irritated from nasal discharge. If it doesnt get better soon, i would see a vet. It may be even nutrional related, are you offering greens for her to eat?
 
HE LOOKS DEHYDRATED ALSO TWO MISTINGS IS NOT ENOUGH AT ALL YOU SHOULD MIST FOR TWO MINS THREE FOUR TIME A DAY ALSO DUST WITH CALCIUM W/O D3 EVERYDAY EXCEPT ONE DAY OF EACH WEEK AND ON THAT ONE DAY ROTATE BETWEEN CALCIUM WITH D3 AND MULTI VITAMIN. ALSO YOU NEED A 5.0 UVB REPTI SUM TUBE STYLE IS PREFERED ALND A 40-60 WATT HOUSEHOLD CLEAR BULB IS BEST. BUT I WOULD ALSO GET A DRIPPER GOING MOST OF THE DAY LITTLE DRIPPER IS BEST BU YOU CAN MAKE ONE JUST POKE A SMALL PIN HOLE IN A LARGE PLASTIC CUP AND PLACE IT ON TOP OF THE CAGE AND FILL IT UP USE DISTILLED OR SPRING WATER UNLESS YOU CONDITION YOUR TAP WATER REPTI SAFE IS THE ONE MOST COMMAON:):)
 
YOU WANT A BASKING SPOT OF ABOUT 82-84 FOR A BABY VEILED AND HIGHER AS THEY GROW THE HUMIDITY SHOULD BE 60%OR HIGHER LIVE PLANTS LIKE POTHOS,FICUS,HIBISCUS,SHEFFIERA.JADE,WANDERING JEW, MOST OF THE UMBRELLA PLANTS THERE IS A SAFE PLANTS LIST OUT THERE I BELIEVE FL CHAMS HAS ONE. KEEP THE MISTINGS UP USE WARM-HOT WATER ALSO DONT LET BIG DROPS HIT HIM HE IS YOUNG ABOUT 6-8 WEEKS WOULD BE MY GUESS
