Could she be black pastel?

Hey guys, do you think this girl could be a Black Pastel? Her eyes have a golden color to them, but not as prominent as when you see a pastels greenish eyes... She's got blushing on the dorsal and head, but not too many flames. The distorted alien faces are what drew me towards black pastel. I was told she was het albino, but nothing proving that...

The story for those interested in the background behind my thinking: I picked up a pair of bp's off craigslist for free, about a month ago and have been fattening them up. They were housed together and the male was way way underweight and the female has an attitude lol.

They girl who gave them away had a couple living with her, and when they broke up the boyfriend left his snakes behind and then the girl moved out and left them. This girl had no idea what she was doing. She said that the boyfriend always said they were het albino snakes, and she told me they must go together. She said she would throw a mouse in the cage and leave it there, when it was gone she would go get another. Sometimes it would be in there for a week she said. I can tell b/c the female has 1 bite scar on her back , lucky it never got infected. They were housed together in a 20 long with a light on top. Maybe i made out good? Either way a nice looking female is always good to have, and i'm gonna throw one of my 100% het ablino males on her in the fall. As soon as the male that came with her gets up to weight i'm gonna give him to a freind who recently lost his 20 year old bp :-(

IMO, No. There seems to be a little "Black-back" action going on, but no way to tell if it's genetic.

She looks something like my Darthie, also a supposed het albino. I've gotten a variety of opinions about what he might or might not have going on, if anything. If you were closer I'd let you borrow him for a few months. It would be interesting to see if anything unusual popped out of the clutch.

black back? Not to me lol, there are way to many dorsal crossovers in the front half lol... i'm a huge sucker for black backs, i have an amazing 2011 male from ghana who has a top notch black back, with no blushing to boot, so its REALLY black. I'll get a pic of him up soon.

But yeah, prob just a funky 'normal' and i'll keep in mind the ph albino. She's good sized already, so i think i can get her to 1500g by early fall i'll have one of my 100% het alb's on her, hell maybe both cycling through! hahaha

He's a beaut too, that would be awesome to see what happens from them! i really like single that black pinstripe on the belly, very funky.

I don't see Black pastel, and that last pic of a BP is a bad example of a Black pastel, and one I would not buy. I look for brighter oranges in the pattern and more pattern blending on the sides in my Black Pastels.

The black-back pattern and dark markings within the alien heads make me think Het Red Axanthic.... But the het Albino Deb posted has those too. Interesting snakes, definitely!

agreed! If he can manage to prove him out as het albino, and i manage to prove my girl to be het albino this year, then we defiantly should try and work something out to breed these hahaha!!
