    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Oh by the way they have a bunch of adds on the internet for birds there selling too. A little bit of time messing around on google and you can find pictures of there birds and his wife sitting with them. Randolf stays off the grid though
 
Do you think he looks at and replies to ads across the US on craigslist? He sounds a lot like a guy who contacted me recently about a 771 gram female pastel. He told me that he's a breeder and can get super pastel females that size for $300. He basically said I was an idiot and kept sending rude e-mails. I told him twice that he was not to contact me again. He's been quiet so far. I wish I would have kept his e-mail address.
 
Who knows.......i told him about this thread and asked if he wanted to make an appearance to clear things up, no reply so i guess he doesn't care lol
 
Wow. Unfortunately I sold a couple hatchlings to this guy also. My intuition told me to meet him at a liquor store parking lot down the road, he was polite then but I felt a fishy vibe. About a year later I inquired about some ball morphs on craigslist. It was Randy. He wanted hundreds more for his snakes then they were worth. When a trade came into question he wanted what I had for pennies on the dollar. Long story short, he was very very rude and demanded an AR-15 for his snakes.. where a weapon of that sort came into negotiations is beyond me. :shrug01:

PS. the firefly pair everyone is talking about cost him $1100, thats $550 each snake. :ack2:

Did he respond to your email about the BOI? Because I did inform him of this thread and he said he went on and read it but he does not care?

Funny, maybe since I used my military address, he has not yet responded. I add "yet" to give him benefit of doubt. It is a very pretty cinnamon, but even very pretty cinnamons are also very common and inexpensive. I have done trades with people on this thread :) I think i'll stick to you guys!

Personally I dont feel this makes me "dumb". Quite the opposite in fact. I care enough about my animals to research where and who they come from.

This makes sense though. The breeders and hobbiests want nothing to do with him so now he's looking for "shmucks" on craigslist. his words, not mine.
 
You're not dumb in the least, and any one hobbiest, pet owner, or breeder doing any type of proper research on their future herp would have come across this board at some time or another. Good on you! (and hopefully someone less informed wont be taken in by him)

I thought that was pretty funny. I'm a schmuck because I care. Cool man, if thats the case I suppose I am! Silly scammers, craigslist is for schmucks! Thats my new motto ;)
