Hope u have better luck with the other 4. Rember that pin female u sold me. She is gravid with 5 herself and got her eatinng reg rats took a bit but she came around. If u plan on selling any Mojave female let me know
Woohoo! Im so happy you got her on rats! I just was unable to work with her at the time with my super needy baby son.

Also, our lack of funds was one of the deciding factors on parting with her as pinstripes are more common now a days then they used to be and we had hungry snake mouths to feed. I miss her though. Im glad she is doing well.

If you havent already, please leave feedback in BOI about the purchase. I will be parting off with all normal looking mojaves this season. I have a mojave male and two adult females and I should have several mojave combos coming from several pairings so I will not need any of the single gene animals. With that being said, I have several people in line already for mojave babies, but, I will have quite a few more mojaves a little later in the season, so, if you dont mind waiting, I will contact you when one comes available.
Sadly it happens. Last season I had a 5 egg clutch. One egg went bad right away. Another went a month and died. Two more went almost full term and died...leaving me with one survivor. Incubator was rock solid and nothing changed. Just wasn't meant to be I guess.
Yeh, we are using a new incubator set up this year, however, all the other eggs look good thus far. I have two clutches in the same tub, that mojave clutch and another clutch that was laid 10 days later and they all seem good thus far. Im worried it may be from all the condensation on the top of tub forming. It drips off when I open the tub to check on the eggs, so, it is probably dripping at other times as well. Im not really sure what to do about the issue. I dont remember having condensation on the top of the tub in previous years.
I have a clutch that is due to hatch on 6/5. Just looked in last week and 1 died. That only leaves 3 eggs out of this clutch. Sucks but I can't get down. I have more females that I hope will be laying soon. Sorry to hear about your luck.
Im sure your other girls will give you lots of healthy happy eggs.

I am also waiting on other clutches and hopefully they will make up for this loss.
Know the feeling...our very 1st clutch ever had 3 outta 4 eggs die but the last is still holding on, just a few more days. So good luck to you.
lost an entire clutch of lesser bred to a genetic banded girl- 4 died first week in, 2 went- vutr them, they were alive. next time i checked they were dead- the lesser in that egg was perfectly reduced, and the normal looking one was perfectly reduced and banded- so, lost 2 morphs right at the end.... what makes it worse- was it was something due to my fault they died ( got too wet) and it was my third season...
It happens- sometimes you make a mistake- sometimes they egg was just not ment to make it. All you can do is learnf rom it ( if you made a mistake) and hope the rest stay good.
good luck- i am sorry to hear the news.
That sucks.

Last year we had a female slug out with only one good egg. That one good egg produced a beautiful normal female that grows faster then all the other babies I have from last year. Our first year of breeding ball pythons on our own, we only had two clutches. One of the clutches we hatched out fine, the other, which was a cinnamon to reduced normal pairing we freaked out when the eggs started to look dry and went a tad water crazy. Killed the whole clutch of 7 eggs, it was horrible.

We definitely learned from that mistake!
Thankyou so much everybody for all the well wishes. Brightens my spirits.
