In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Who is the father?!

My Albino Het Anery gave birth on Saturday to 2 slugs and 39 babies! The only problem is that I don't know who the father is. I paired her with a Hypo Het Snow and a Hypo Pastel. In the litter are, Normals or Pastels?, Hypos, Albinos and Sunglows. Every snake is absolutely beautiful. They have very clean and sometimes aberrant patterns. Usually you can tell the difference between Sunglows and Albinos but with this litter it's hard to distinguish. A lot of the Sunglows and Albinos have a very orange/pink hue to them. Either the Albino Het Anery isn't Het Anery (I'm positive that she is) or the Hypo Pastel is Het Albino. I'm leaning towards the father being the Hypo Pastel but I'm not sure. If someone could look at the pictures and tell me what they think I would appreciate it! I'm stumped.

Thanks!

I'm not sure, but is that not a moonglow in the 2nd pic and 3rd pic down on the right? Nice beautiful large clutch whatever they are. Congrats!!

Congrats on the babies!!
there's no real way to know which was the father... (I'm leaning towards the hypo het) could have been a mixed litter even. Looks like next year you'll need to try to prove out if your pastel hypo is actually a het albino. Then if he's not, you'll know it was all the hypo het. which would then mean either he's not het anery or you got some cruddy odds.

doesn't look like a moonglow from here, looks like albino (I've had faded and high contrast albinos in the same litter).

Thank you Bill! It isn't a moonglow but it looks close to one. It's the prettiest Albino I've ever seen. I might be alittle biased though lol.

I bred the Hypo Het Snow male to my Double Het Snow female and she had her babies last Tuesday. The babies that my Albino Het Snow female had don't look anything like the other litter. I would think that if the father for both litters were the same, the babies would look similar. The babies aren't a little different, they are very different.

That's what I'm planning to do. I'm not going to sell them as something if I'm not 100% sure. I was just curious to see what everybody's opinion was on them. I'm leaning towards the Triple Het Moonglow being the father also. Either way I'm happy with what I got and maybe I can hit the Snows and Moonglows next year!

You might be surprised sometimes how different the babies can look even with one parent being different. One of my girls has thrown some quite different looking babies with different males (and I am speaking on the normals in the litter, not morphs).

I just realized you said she had 39 babies! wow! that's a huge litter!
My largest so far was 34.

I'm just happy that all of them seem healthy! There is one that has a weird jaw (looks like he/she has an under bite) and I don't know if that one will survive. Everybody else seems ok though.

I know! I was thinking she was going to have around 15 to 20 babies...boy did she surprise me!
