    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Leopard Het Red Clutch

I want some oppinions on these guys, I produced some of the craziest het reds out of the leopard het red clutch that I've ever seen in my life. I really think there's something here that I'm missing because I've hatched het reds before and they've never looked this dark before. Maybe I just got some DANG good examples out of the clutch. For the history on this clutch I bred my leopard and my enchi (that has since then proved to be het red also) something that I was really looking forward to, but anyway bred both those males to my female het red. Could the enchi het red also be the sire? I never saw a lock with the enchi het red only with the leopard and I did get the leopard het red out of the clutch. Well anyway, opinions are welcomed. :thumbsup:

The last gold colored one looks the most like mom but maybe your right. Maybe the ones are just het reds that took the dad's aberant pattern even though they didn't get the leopard gene.
 
Thanks Brendan, yeah I'm not really sure what to think about those babies but time will tell. Guess I might have to hold back that clutch lol.
 
Thanks Deb, it's too bad WOBP won't put it up on their site, I'm kind of having issues with those guys. It would be a little disheartening if they don't recognize the new combo I made.
 
I went back and looked up pics of the hatchling het Red I picked up three years ago from Oz, and she looked that dark, too.

This girl has some eggs that will be hatching in two weeks, so it'll be neat to see if her offspring are just as dark.
 
thank you krystal that helps a ton so the two are definitely het reds and the other orange one is probably normal. Am I missing something here, WOBP is bashing on my morph....it's kind of discouraging considering I've looked up to those guys for a long time in the reptile industry....does the leopard het red look ugly I mean maybe I'm biased since I created it?
 
i like it, but thats cuz i like dark earth tones and like the pattern, not alot of people like that kind of thing, so i would just take it with a grain of salt. i think its a good thing, just may not be 10K good

I don't want to sell it which is why I put it at $10,000 because tons of people kept asking me if I'd sell it, that was me saying without that kind of money waving in my face I'm not interested. Every single thing this guy is put to will be a new combo.

Ok well that's nice but obviously you haven't seen one if you can't see the het red in it. Wasn't trying to be rude but its quite obvious to see the purple flames and the squiggles. You can call it ugly but I haven't seen anything that you produced that looks better.
