In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well as the title states this was a bust im very disappointed, i was really looking foward to a jigsaw. I bred my super mojo male to her, she laid lastnite she was 6days earlier 3good and 4slugs. Yeah i thought the 3eggs were good but they have no veins, only one has a faint vein in it but im not counting on it. Thanks for looking and i hope it doesnt depress you guys as much as its killing me right now lol hope everyone is having a great season.
Ps. this happens to the best of us its in the game but i hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Bummer! That happened with one of our girls this year as well. I'd put the one with the faint veins in the incubator just in case. Better luck with your next clutches!

I have to agree with the others - I hatched out two nice babies this year from eggs that I didn't think had a chance. Incubate them until they're proven no good.

I agree with others Ernest, don't give up on those 3 eggs. I could see 2 of the 3 making it!! At first glance you could say this is a bust, but a female that doesn't lay any at all is more of a bust in my opinion, at least you have chance!!

Thanks Rob, I put all three in the bator and hoping for a miracle. Would be real nice to see these make it full term and hatch out one jigsaw.

See man, everyone else is saying the same thing I was telling you yesterday. Haha. Don't give up on them yet haha. I really hope they turn out to be good. I know how badly you have been wanting to hit on that jigsaw. Good luck man!

Thanks for the motivation bro, yeah i think your the only person that understands how bad i want a jigsaw. Thanks everyone for the high spirits this may just be the thing my eggs need to grow strong in those eggs.

hey dont feel too bad, i had a female throw 4 slugs and 2 boobs, and the boobs died, or they would have pipped today! just keep trying bro. i wanted to apologize for reeding too deep on the last thread we spoke on! good luck with everything else bro!

I've hatched out some nice animals from much worse looking eggs. And you've still got a decent chance at hitting what you want. Good luck with them, Ernest!!

its only been a few days...but how are they looking?

They were laid on 7/20 so its almost a week in the bator, i can see very very faint red areas but that could be what i want to see lol but they dont look bad still plump we will see. Still no visable veins i will keep you guys updated, has anyone hatch eggs that started out with no veins?

The two black pewters I hatched about 2 weeks ago were from eggs that didn't appear viable. I can't say that they were totally without veins, but they might as well have been. When I candled them, they lit up solid YELLOW. One had the faintest hint of a red line at one end that didn't even make it halfway down the egg; the other didn't show a whole lot more...maybe a vein and a half, lol - barely a hair's width - again, isolated at the very end on one side. I was pretty close to tossing them, but I opted to leave them with the mother for a while. Honestly, it was more laziness than hopefulness...I didn't have the incubator set up & I was too tired to mess with them right then. I didn't bother looking at them again (though I did make at least a reasonable effort at keeping the humidity decent without getting the eggs wet or disrupting mom) until several weeks later, when - just for giggles - I candled them because they still looked good. One was a bit of a boob egg, and it showed strong veins through just over half the egg; and the other showed great veining throughout.

I've incubated eggs like that before, but only rarely have I seen veins develop & babies hatch. Usually the eggs just crap out...but it doesn't always happen as quickly as one would expect.

I feel like we had the same situation man lol, i had my first clutch in 2010 that hatch and i was loosing eggs one by one in a six egg clutch. I was down to 2 eggs that looked bad but i never candled my first so i left them in and they hatch i was really shocked. I hope this time i get a happy ending man, a jigsaw girl is calling my name lol.

So you're saying a jigsaw girl gives you a happy ending??
I'm actually on the opposite side - my past comments about jigsaws speak for themselves...and I've more recently been wondering why I ever bought a pin combo. I don't care for pins, like relatively few blasts (though super blasts can be pretty hot). I was originally thinking spinner blasts and killer spinners...but I've sort of lost interest in spider combos, so :shrug01:
That's the nice thing about this, though - something for everybody, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What one person dislikes, another loves.

Update On clutch

Ok we have 2eggs now one of them started to stink and discolor so i threw it out. The other 2eggs look good and this is day 20, whats the longest time that a clutch has lasted before it goes bad?
