In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Inquiry Mark @ Boa Master

Well honestly Harold,I wrote it and i am asking about his boa's,him and not his cages and their quality. No where did it mention his cages.I was only interested in the boa he had and his possible good or bad standing with others that bought boa's from him and the boa's quality. Not how his cages are or are not.
I will be more straight forward next time in my post so as not to have this.
Thanks for your input. You are entitled to your opinion.

You may have initiated this thread, Rich, but you don't get that kind of control over it. A simple review of the Rules for Posting on the BOI would have shown you that people are encouraged to use existing threads whenever possible. As such, people are able to use this thread to post their experiences with, and opinion of, Mark Venhorst in this one. It doesn't matter if they bought or sold, or whether boas, cages, feeder roaches, or whatever were the "product" involved...the BOI is about business and people. I won't say that the quality of the product doesn't matter in this section; but it's relevance is as a reflection of the business.[\color]

So much for the quick response on my phone...pretend I did the tags right, and that the above showed up in blue text.

I have spoken to him on the phone 3 times asking questions and a few emails back and forth , he was always polite and helpful . I bought one if his cages , well built and works great .

Ok Harold. I got the answers i wanted in some emails and from people on another thread. His cages might be good but his boa's are not getting rave reviews. And thats what i was interested in.
Peoples advice on cages does not help with the boa aspect! At all.

You're still missing the same point, Rich - this isn't about you. It doesn't matter that you started the thread, or that you only want to talk about boas in it. This forum is for people to share their experiences and opinions. Members are encouraged to use existing threads...so, as I've already explained, there is no reason that people should not use this thread for any business dealings they've had with Mark. You were out of line to tell another member not to use this thread for his experiences; and, rather than continue pressing the issue after I pointed that out, you would be better off accepting it. If you have a problem with this, take it up in the feedback forum.

Well since this is about "BoaMaster" I am just wondering who Michael Hurteau is and why he is going around Facebook saying and acting like he owns BoaMaster.

I purchased one of his PVC cages and was satisfied. I don't get the sense that customer service is his strongest point, or to be fair, I should say online communication. And really you should be able to tell from the pictures whether or not you want one of his boas. I haven't seen him accused of misrepresenting his animals.

I been buying cages from Mark since 2005 and havent had much for problems Till my last 2 orders. One cage was cut .25 too short, but assembled no hassle and didnt bother me.

This cage I just got Friday was a Nightmare. I bought the 30x18x12 PVC cage with Heat Panel. Screw Holes pre drilled from machine were off, so when screwing cage together they were missing and causing Screw bulges. Next the front Piece Did not sit flush the way it was intended. Cage Ceiling and FLoor in front had no grooves like in back and just hung there. Lightly push on them and they flexed enough an adult ball could squeeze out and either get out or injure.

Ive contacted Mark about it, and he wants to send a New .75 front piece for but that wont fix the problem since the ceiling and floor pieces were cut to a width to hold .5" front.

Overall Im glad this is last cage ill ever need to order. The quality on this one was just horrible. Cage was delayed shipment a full week due to out of materials and machine was broke. Whether machine was not fully calibrated or what I have no clue.

But sending a new front piece is beyond anything as its pointless like i told him as it wont fix anything. Hopefully he and I can come to a solution about this and move on.

Video of it.

Man, that sucks, Rich. A snake could slip right out of that if it tried even a little.

Yes which when i was installing it, My first thought was, Hmm where are the groves on front piece like back has. I silicone the hell out of the inside and outside and its holding very well.

Just got off phone with Mark, and We agreed on a $40 refund for the price of a new Front Piece! So Its all figured out as of now. He had a new guy cut few new cages to get them out, so he thinks guy being new messed up somewhere!
