You probably don't really need any more proof of what Ashley is capable of, but I'm sharing this to further show what kind of person she really is.
About mid June of this year, Ashley evidently abandoned her house near Austin. Let me preface this story by telling you that Ryan had already moved out before this happened. Fast forward to last week. Ryan and Crystal Sullivan went to see the damage and see if anything was left behind. All of the snakes were gone, but Crystal noticed something left in a cage. It was a blue tegu that she originally thought was dead. Well he wasn't. She immediately took him out and gave him water and took him home. She had been feeding him with a syringe for about a week when I adopted him to rehab him. This guy had been left in a cage with no food, no water, and no lights for about two months. It's surprising that he was still alive. Here are some pics of when Crystal found him.
Please note that the large protrusion is a spinal deformity that was evident when he was born. He also dropped part of his tail after Crystal rescued him. It is healing fine but I did have to lance it and clean it about 2 days ago. So far there is no indication of infection and seems to be healing over.
The breeder of "Kinky" actually found my FB posts and sent me pics of when he was one day old. He was hatched 10/28/2009
And here is the original thread when Ashley got him

I now have him in a large acrylic temp enclosure just for observation and will be moving him into a home made enclosure soon. After a week of syringe feedings, soakings, and probiotics, I am glad to say that he took a f/t hopper today by himself. Took him to the vet this morning as well and she told me considering what he's been through, he looks like he's going to fully recover. Knowing that a male blue tegu could get nearly 4ft long, it's obvious that he was not taken care of correctly even before Ashley left him to die. He weighed in at a whopping 1lb. and 21 inches long. Way undersize for a 3 year old male tegu. She also stated that the deformity shouldn't hinder him in any way. Here he is today in his enclosure, and a vid of him eating that hopper. Sorry for the quality as it was my cell phone and I was in a hurry to capture it.
