In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Watch out I got screwed BY Corsi Morphs

Good point Kevin. Why would she be trying to get a refund back on a snake for three days, when during those three days, she was trying to sell it?

TuesdayJodie Todd Joel
just text you the invoice pic give it a sec to come through
sorry its a bad pic
when i get the funds in my account I will call him direct and tell him that she is being shipped to you
your not far from him so the heat is not an issue like sending to me in Cali

This was the day before this post was made. Doesn't sound like a statement from someone that can't get a hold of the seller.

Frankly I feel like this was a very unfair statement. It was clear from the buyer's posts that she doesn't have a pristine grasp of the English language, and I very much doubt that her intention was to make false (spoken) statements against the seller. She was simply stating that she would post her story all over the Internet, and she knew it would make the seller look bad.

That means the "I have been trying for three days" statement was a complete lie.

The buyer is being caught in what appear to be untrue statements.

She also isn't one of those people that has a gift with words, and may have accidentally contradicted herself.

Some of her quotes do seem to depart from the truth, and I'm not sure they are accidental.

When I started reading this thread, I was annoyed and disgusted at the buyer for throwing a tantrum over something that comes up in any google search.

But now that I've read the entire thing, I feel for her.

You are totally entitled to your feelings. Everyone who reads a BOI post is entitled to come to their own conclusions about what has been said. I do not share your perspectives or conclusions here, that does not mean that I do not respect your right to think what you want.

My conclusion, for instance, is that both sides have shown themselves to be less than forthcoming and I would not do business with either of them.

The OP most certainly does have a grasp of the English language. I see no evidence that she isn't a native speaker, and she is quite articulate when she decides to elaborate rather than post statements that seem deliberately elliptical. The very next quote that you posted indicates a fairly articulate individual.

Running in and buying it popping it in our mouth to find out its sour! Then yelling at the clerk. Yes that is my fault! I AM SORRY!! Corsi Morphs is not a bad guy for lack of info I just mad for the lack of communication!!

The word slander should be clearly understood by the person who wrote this post. She is, at best, flaky, IMO, and Angelo is not someone with whom I would do business either because of his attitude that he has shown here. Being sarcastic, insulting, evasive and hot headed because he didn't like being questioned about a business deal is not being very professional. I wouldn't want anything to do with either of these people, either.

U would be hot headed to if this nonsense happened to u and u where the seller.

No I would be ashamed because of the undisclosed genetics issue...IF that were the case. Yet another question that hasn't been answered.

Let's not forget that Angelo claims to have discussed the desert genetic issue while they were on the phone.

**Lucille- No one asked for your opinion on here and I owe you proof of nothing!!!

Right out of the Handbook, when they are backed into a corner, they get indignant and leave. Classic.

we will never know if the promise of a refund was real or just a hush puppy.
Has the refund arrived yet. Been what 4-5 days not including Sunday since it was sent.

I stand corrected. Give it a few more days, but the buyer is updating, and it appears we will in fact know (since he said he sent a refund)
David refund is done!
whether Angelo's word means anything or not.

Which Reptiles Facebook Auction page did you buy her from? If you're talking about the main Reptile Auctions on Facebook, in the auction rules, it clearly states that if any animal is deformed or is in any other way a "pet only," the rules stipulate that it is necessary to fully disclose any issues that would make it a pet only. If the breeder used the following Facebook page:

http://www.facebook.com/groups/299382426741229/

then he should have obeyed the rules of the auction group and disclosed any information such as this, regardless of whether or not this is a well known issue or not.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone touched on this? I had actually thought of this a few days ago but wasn't going to get involved. I'm glad it was brought up but I don't think anyone gave their opinion. I'm just wondering what people think is all:shrug01:?

When it comes to the FB group I believe its a separate issue that should be handled by the group Admins how ever they see fit. If they feel their rules were not followed, that's their matter to handle. It dosnt change anything between the OP and the seller.

At this point I'm sure most people think these two should just not be doing business with each other in general. The best course of action is a refund, and a washing of hands of all involved = / Hopefully both parties have learned from this and can avoid making the same mistakes in their futures.

Sorry...let me word that better haha

I say it dosnt change anything because I'm sure most agree that the breeding issue should have been disclosed...at this point its a he said she said that he did or didn't disclose it...we can only prove it wasn't mentioned in the ad. Since that is the only place we can prove he didn't disclose, that's up to the admins of the group in that situation.

This is what I was looking for:D:thumbsup:

Again, I'm just curious.

I am breaking my own rule and posting to this thread once again.. I logged on to unsubscribe to the thread and thought I would give an update to this ridiculous situation that just continues.. I have taken half a day off from work to take care of this mess once and for all.

8/16 I told Jodie I was having the bank issue a check for her refund then I was advised against that for the fact that a PayPal claim could still be made. I then issued a fund request in PayPal to my bank as my balance was not sufficient enough to cover the refund. Little did I know Jodie opened a claim to PayPal on 8/15 same day she asked for a refund and the claim was "Item received was not as described."

8/18 I was contacted by PayPal about this claim and asked to respond. At that time a hold was put against the money for the refund which put my balance negative.

8/20 funds went in but were held by the dispute claim made by Jodie.

8/21 I spoke to PayPal on the phone about the dispute and told them about my issue and explained that they are holding the money for the refund. (I had already placed another transfer request to the bank for another $400) After talking about the deal PayPal told me they do not cover live animal transactions and that they were denying jodies claim and closing the issue and removing the hold on the funds so I could now refund her.

No sooner did they release the funds for 15 minutes, jodie went back on to PayPal and reopened another claim for the same reason putting the money back into PayPal hands to hold.

I am tired of this!! I never even mentioned before that I had already booked and paid for shipping through SYR waiting for the go to ship from Jodie and was prepared to eat that shipping in the refund as I did not know if SYR would refund it..

Again I am tired of this... I checked zip code 92223 and the conditions are well within safe parameters for shipping. So Jodie will get the animal she won on auction and if she doesn't want it she can go through with the deal to flip it she had prior to asking for a refund.

Im sure there will be plenty of opinions on my decision and im sure the thread will climb in pages (I HOPE NOT).. But I am unsubscribing to this tread and now I am truly done with it..

I am sorry if my hot headed responses in the past offended any one here it was in no way my intention!! as I said before it is an unwarranted thread in my mind and should have never been started.. I hope every one is having a better day then have up to this point!!! But now Im going to go play in the yard with the kids for the rest of the afternoon!

Enjoy the day!!

Thanks for posting again, I think I would do the same.

Again, the seller offers no proof, which would be easy to do, he has the messages from Paypal. This sounds fishy, once a claim is closed by Paypal it is very, very rarely reopened, one has to petition for an appeal and that is not done in 15 minutes.

So I just got a text saying he is sending me the snake and not the refund...Well I guess my daughter will just have a Beautiful pet, because I WILL NOT put that animal through shipping again.

This is true. Good call, I know he said he wasn't posting again...I'm hoping he will post some proof of those claims though. Otherwise, I'm back to what I originally thought lol.

Angelo, my gut tells me that you are telling the truth. I think Jodie is impulsive on top of flaky and I don't blame you for settling this issue by making her take the snake, especially if she has a buyer for it. Let her deal with her own impulsive purchase, and I say impulsive, because that is how I see her whole family regarding snakes based on what she has said about the 7-8 year old wanting the snakes, then becoming impatient, her bidding and winning an auction while, unbeknownst to her, hubby is out buying snakes as well, etc. This string of paypal claims is just more of the same, IMO.

Best of luck to both of you.
