In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Watch out I got screwed BY Corsi Morphs

I have a hard time with some of the people on here who think they shouldnt have to tell any defects a snake has ! If someone is spending good hard earned $ on a snake, the seller should disclose any and all pertinent info of that snake.
I would not buy from anyone who hides info on genetic defects just to make a $.
Thats a crying shame imo.
I will always tell of any issues with any boa i have or had and its gonna be sold.
Not everyone who buys on here are aware of all the bad genetics out there.
Whats wrong with being truthful and forth coming? Its shame some think its all up to the buyer to know an animal has defects.Especially when paying hundreds of $$.

That is my point, even if it is (or expected to be) well known in our community about certain genetic/morph defects, it takes a few extra seconds to make sure that its in the description. Why not just put it in there, just to ensure that your butt is covered as well as the buyer is educated on that particular animal/genetics/morph's issue. Its more just taking the extra few seconds, and putting pride aside

With all due respect, I disagree.

Defect yes.
"Hey this one has more woble than most"

Genetic anomally that is common knowledge....... no.
"Hey this one has red eyes because it is an albino. "

We make ads. Not abstracts and dissertations
"All albinos have red eyes and their body color is mostly white and yellow unless you are buying a lavender albino or a candy or a toffee. Candy and toffee are compatible with normal albino. Compatibility with lavenders however is still unknown for the moment I think."

Now on the other side of the coin. Deserts not producing viable clutches is not quite common knowledge either. So yes I am of the opinion that it should have been made known.

ps. I apologize. I think we are delving a little past the topic at hand. Perhaps it should be discussed elsewhere. :shrug01:

I see both sides here. I guess I just dont see the big deal in saying, in an ad, about spider balls for example, something like. "male spider ball 500 gram, $xxx.xx. **Please be aware that spiders are known for their head wobbling "defect" "

I guess I just dont understand what the big whoop is about just putting that little disclaimer in ones ad, regardless if it is or should be "common knowledge". I just saves potential hazzard later, if a buyer does not happen to be aware of wobbling issues, for example.

In my opinion, thats just above and beyond good ethics by the seller/breeder. It takes a few extra words and secons, to type it in and then its done.

Right after I posted my last post, I believe it should be in a discussion forum other than here, about getting into proper labeling on ads, and such. My apologies.

I think the genetic issue is very relevant here because it is one of the many reasons that the OP offered for wanting a refund instead of the snake.

I'm inclined to agree with the topic of full disclosure being more suited to a discussion area...especially since this situation has supposedly been resolved.

When i sell my sunglows to people who have no knowledge of the albino gene being able to make 1 eyed buggers,i tell them. Some people who come on here are new,or just getting into the hobby of breeding and i want to inform them as much as i can so they can make their best decision. Even if that means talking myself out of the sale.

If the person buying the snake in mention didnt know its possible problems,it would have been nice for someone to tell them. The breeder or seller in this case. Why hide things from people who dont know? If they didnt know. To make a $. In my opinion, thats wrong as a seller with the knowledge to inform.

I got this at 9:52 pm last night..

"Well I never got a tracking number and I don't know how long she sat on my porch but yes I did and she is fine and she is absolutely beautiful!!! In her tub in quarantine ."

Frankly, I want headers or a post from the buyer to confirm this unadorned quote. This is the same guy who posted on here that he sent a refund.

In any case both parties handled themselves badly, aside from the issues. In my opinion, why invite a headache into your life when there are so many ethical buyers and sellers that are easy to deal with.

Thats why I think this whole thread may have been avoided if, all the seller did, was put that little disclaimer about deserts

It still continues even after the above text was sent to me!! She now is trying to get a refund by means of a chargeback on her credit card that she used via paypal..

She bid on a snake won it, recieved it and her own words "she is fine and she is absolutely beautiful!!! " but yet this thread exists and she now has the snake and wants her money too..

Can you take a screen shot of the delivery confirmation from fedex or ask fed ex to track the package? If you can do that, then you can also turn all of that over to paypal, I would guess.

She now is trying to get a refund by means of a chargeback on her credit card that she used via paypal..
.

Is it possible that the chargeback request was initiated prior to her receiving the snake?
I'm with Donna, send the evidence showing delivery to Paypal.

If she actually initiated the chargeback request after delivery, that is a flat out scam on her part, in my opinion.
