I've known bob my whole life. No a bad words to utter. If he quit responding its because you were driving him nutz over an animal he usually doesn't even carry much less worry over. If you do live in Oregon you need to contact Mr. Boatner adapt as he will be alerted to this thread if not already has. Another pointless thread. You drop a lot of dates and time frames in your ramblings but what I found most important is that you've been trying to acquire crocodilians for 2 years but have only been in contact with Bob Clark since an April 2012 inquiry. It seems to me you just dumped a bunch of pent up frustration on someone who wasn't deserving it in the least. There is absolutely nothing in this thread to make me even remotely apprehensive about doing business with Mr. Clark in the future.

I"ve just been made aware of this post. I don't check the BOI regularly and I don't think I've ever been mentioned here before. I never offered the crocs for sale, they were never advertised. I said I was working on an import, projected a likely price and said numerous times I'd let Justin know when I had more information. I"ve done just that. Justin, if you check your email you'll see that I got the permit yesterday and I sent you a message about it this morning.

I'm assuming you meant 90 days to get it. In which case, not quite. Based on my interpretation of the law, 90 days only applies to those who already owned exotics when the law was passed. Since that's not the case with you, I believe you'd need to get the permit first.

A person who possesses an exotic animal on the effective date of the law may continue to keep the animal and has 90 days to obtain a permit for the animal with the Department of Agriculture.
