5) The Administrators of this thread allow for these malicious and devious behaviors here only because it is "against" Ballbids.com. And that merely proves the lack of character with many of these members and the blatant hateful and deceitful intention of this entire thread. This Thread is a textbook example of how low down and pathetic some people can be and how devious some are from behind their keypad.
Speaking of "proof", how about you take a stab at PROVING that statement about the Administrators of this site? Since I am the ONLY administrator here, then you are talking about ME, buster. And I will flat out tell you here and now that your statement is a bald faced LIE. I "allow" all parties to post here as much as they want, as long as they want, and about what they want, as long as they do so within the rules long established for this forum. Personally, I really don't give a crap either way about you nor BallBids. If BallBids becomes the next Ebay, it won't affect my retirement even one little tiny bit. If if gets flushed down the tubes tomorrow, it won't make even the tiniest of waves in my pond. Seriously, do you REALLY think that yourself and BallBids are all that important to everyone in the entire world? Get a grip, buddy, you aren't even a small fish in a little pond at this point. A household word, you ain't.
You all can entertain yourselves now. I have things to do that are more important that having to prove to the liars that they are in fact liars. Twist, it skew it, do what you will. But the facts are right there.
So how about entertaining me by proving to ME that YOU are not a liar, Mr. Byers? You made a claim about how I run this site in general and this thread specifically. So how about bringing some sort of evidence to the table to back up that claim, please. Or are you just as confused and misinformed as Marty was about me and how I run this site?
And BallFibs will continue to delete and remove any customers and comments that aren't glowing reviews, continuing to fabricate a false sense of happiness and security. That's the hallmark of a dishonest organization.
Yeah, imagine that. Here is an unbiased thread not under the control of neither those people PRO nor CON BallBids, and what do we have to show for it? Why isn't there an obvious outpouring of support from the many purported happy supporters of BallBids here? Seems to be that the ONLY people I see making positive statements are the persons direct involved with, and having a vested interest in the survival of, BallBids. Imagine that!
Ballbids has now been required to expend more capital to combat these planned attacks against their server. In reality, no small business should have to go to these excessive extremes for internet security. Ballbids is committed to its customers and its quality of business standards so with this new upgrade the scumbags (if the shoe fits wear it) should not be able to bias anymore auctions and those that try will be easier to identify and prosecute.
Welcome to the world of running your own server on the internet. Quite frankly, if you have not hardened your server against hackers from the very start, you are doing a disservice not only to your own customers, but to every other server out there who could be attacked by a hacker compromising your server and using it as a base of DDoS attacks to other parties. This is just the way it is. It is part and parcel for running an internet business these days. So please don't whine and cry about your server being something special and targeted whereas no one else is as well. You either have to do this sort of thing yourself, or else you hire experts to do it for you. Either way, it HAS to be done if you want to play in this sandbox.
Hell, you wouldn't believe what I have had to go through with MY server and THIS site to try to keep it secure and functioning properly. It's part of the job. Yeah, it costs money, and yeah it's a pain in the butt to have to deal with. But it IS what it IS, and that's the world we live in, so you just need to deal with it, or go do something else to try to make a buck. If you were expecting something easy when contemplating trying to run an internet based business, well, sorry about the wakeup call you got.
