    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I joined fauna over a year and I've never really explored the site outside of the classifieds and BOI so I just stubbled upon this. :eek:

Well here is my intro:

My name is Rebecca. I live in Madison, WI and am vice president of the Madison Area Herpetological Soceity. My chosen profession is computer programming. I have been working with healthcare software since I got my first internship in college and haven't been able to move away from the field.

I got my first ball python two years ago, a sub adult normal female I purchased from a pet store. Since then my collection has grown, as has my knowledge of who to buy from. My interests have branched out from ball pythons a little in the past two years. I now have some crested gecko and boas.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all and using fauna for more than the BOI and classifieds. :D

Hi Rebecca welcome :)

Thank you Ed. :)

The little pinstriped crested I got from you earlier this year is doing really nicely. It's definately one of my favorites:

Hey there!
Have you done any morph projects with any of the animals you listed?

My crested gecko collection is super weird because I bought what I thought looked cool not thinking about future projects so other then a red project I don't have anything specific there.

I have about 32 ball pythons so there are a few projects there. The one I am looking forward to the most is my pastel pied to my pastel yellowbelly 50% het pied. I'm really hoping to prove her next year. Another project I am excited for is taking my enchi male to one of my bumblebee females. I am hoping to hit on an enchi bumblebee male that I take to my pastel calico in the future. Last season I produced 3 pastel enchis out of a 5 egg clutch (my first clutch to hatch) and this season should be similar pairings (spotnose X butter, enchi X bumblebee, pastel yellowbelly X normal, pastel ph ghost X ph ghost).

The pride and joy of my collection is my pair of hypo jungle boas. I can't wait to breed them, but that's still a few years out.
