In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Perfect Predators..unreliable

Im not speaking for Manny nor defending him. But he is a very busy guy and cant answer every email and request on time.

That in my opinion is poor customer service. A reply need not be made in an hour or even the same day, but this was no 'pest' this customer had genuine questions.

This seller has a valid excuse for not calling, but no excuse for not emailing. If he has no computer, someone at his business could have sent an email.
Good communications are important and it has been over a month since the sale.
I understand that he may have a cold now, but this issue has been going on for over a month.

In your Emails you posted, He stated some ate, and some have not yet. Which i think you confused with all have eaten.

No, the first message that was taken was from a phone conversation and the seller advised that they all had fed really heavily so he did not want to ship that week (which is understandable). But then there is the back and forth of " they all ate heavy..shipping next week....and they havent all eaten....

After speaking with others i work with that have tried getting in touch with the seller, I was told that one more than one occasion they were told that the animals should have shipped and we would have the shipping info in out email. No email..no info. We check back and we're told "my helper wasnt there and doesnt know whats up so ill email you in a while. We wait and no response. This happened twice with the animals "should have been shipped".

Christopher has every right to be mildly upset about poor communication. Having a cold is no excuse to leave a customer hanging with questions unanswered.

I am not attacking Perfect Predators in any way. Things happen sometimes and it is understandable you can't be on top of everything 24/7. However for a paying customer to have to wait so long for questions to be answered and paid animals to be shipped "as they are" is quite unfair.

For Rich to attack the OP saying that this thread is going to turn on him is very irrational and unnecessary. The OP has every right to voice his opinion and let others know of his experiences. One should not be bullied just for speaking their mind.

I am the guy that paid for the animals. He was paid sept 20th. He spoke with my wife for a good 45 minuets on the phone. He told her the snakes had just been fed and he would ship early the following week. That was on a Thursday. We asked that they be shipped Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. We got a bunch of different shipments Wednesday and I didn't even realize they hadn't come in. Amanda (my wife) called him later in the day and he said "oh, I'm not sure why they didn't ship. They will go out tomorrow". come Friday the same story. "I'm not sure why they didn't ship. I was at a show and my helper isn't here right now. We will get them out Monday. Again Tuesday and no show. This has been going on for a month now. We get so many animals I didn't even realize we didn't have them. Chris started pm'ing him maybe a week or so ago and I just started hearing about all this a few days ago. I bought mail piedballs because we were suppose to have the females in. I spend good money. I buy a lot. I'm easy top do business with. I buy a lot of animals listed here on Fauna and king snake. I don't haggle on prices. This is not going to just go away.

here are thee-mails between Amanda and perfect predators:

Looks like a whole lot of runaround. At this point, it may just be better to ask for the refund, and hope he can actually find the time to send that.

So let me get this straight. You bought the same exact trio of het press that Christopher had boughten as well?

If so maybe the reason or delaying in shipping is for one of you to want a refund so he can ship the trio to the other?

I think he is Christopher's boss.

No, John Willis is my employer. Im running his reptile biz. He has more insight at to the communications between us and the seller as I try not to get involved with the sellers. i just stick with the animals....and this is a perfect reason.

Christopher works here at SOE and runs my reptile program. I'm not some kid in moms basement that will just walk away. I spend a lot of time and money in this industry and have for over 30 years. We have several building here on the property and are currently building more to hours more animals. My wife generally handles payment. She talks to Ben Siegels people every Friday and pay and they ship every Monday. She talks to BHB and pays and they ship every Tuesday. I spend betweena grand and two grand every other week or so with "The snake shop " out of vegas (they also sell here). Maybe we have just been lucky but we have never had an issue. Like I said I'm just now hearing about this. Thus the posts today. Manny hasn't called nor e-mailed Amanda nor Chris today. They are posting all over his facebook though as recently as 11 minuets ago. Amanda called him twice on Friday, once Thursday, once on the 17th, all of those calls have gone unanswered and she left voice mail all those times and she left her name, why she was calling, and her phone number.

To be honest, I'm torn on this one; not because of the context of your plight (I agree that he had lacking communication skills which is extremely important in keeping customers happy) but because of the choice to give him a bad guy thread instead of an inquiry thread.

I was under the impression that bad guy threads were reserved for those who either keep money when a refund is in order, don't pay for animals they have received, are proven liars and misrepresent animals, ship sick animals and have extremely terrible communication skills.

From what you're saying, he was more than willing to give a full refund (although I know money isn't the issue here but it still has to be brought up that he was willing to do this for you) and was lacking communication skills. I'm really not trying to defend the accused but at the same time, I really think you might have jumped the gun giving Perfect Predators a Bad Guy thread instead of an Inquiry thread.

But maybe I'm unclear as to the difference between a Bad Guy thread and an Inquiry thread. :shrug01: Just giving my two cents on the matter.

I posted in this section because I'm not inquiring if someone has had good-bad-indifferent experiences with Perfect Predators. Im posting here because the experience is negative.

Inquiry threads have dual purposes; you can use them to ask about particular people/businesses and you can also post not so satisfactory experiences that don't necessarily deserve a full blown bad guy thread but still deserve some mentioning, which is what has been done in the past on this forum and where I personally think this scenario belongs.

I'm not saying that he is in the right or that you are in the wrong by any stretch of the imagination, I just don't think it fully deserves a bad guy thread especially considering the fact that he offered to give you a full refund without you asking for it.

Again, I wouldn't consider PP a full blown bad guy based off of this thread for the reasons that I mentioned in my previous post and I honestly don't have a bias either way because I don't know and have never done business with either you or PP. Just my personal opinion.

Someone failing to ship animals after promising to ship them over and over again and failing to advertise them as "non-feeding" or "not yet feeding" should not be given just an inquiry thread, in my opinion. Same goes for someone who is apparently far too busy to give updates when they are asked for, even in a short and sweet e-mail. That would fall under "extremely terrible communcation skills".

The fact that he offered a refund is irrelevant when the buyer wants to get the animals they paid for that the seller appears to still clearly have.

Suggesting that he is just entering the BP game after dealing with boas is also irrelevant. If the animals had not yet fed yet or were having issues feeding, that should have been disclosed from the get go or updated immediately. This did not happen, instead, there are e-mails and phone calls (unable to be verified, of course, but the e-mails are) where there was a promise to ship and failure to fulfill said promise for one excuse or another.

This is clearly a negative experience and the decision to make it a Bad Guy Thread is justified, in my opinion.

The OP and his boss wanted to get a specific product that they bought and paid for and were promised and they have yet to obtain that specific product.

As a side note, Christopher, have you alerted Manny to this thread?

Add the fact that there seems to be a disagreement between just what was fed and what was not and just who was responsible for the shipping of these animals and who was not.

Seems like there may be some organizational issues with this business.
