    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Shane Porter

I'm 100% on Kathy's side on this and talk with her on FB this guy need to be beat. But for somebody else to comment when he has done some things and not suffered is 100% wrong.

The seller should at least refund your money, Kathy. Even doing that won't make up for the money you will have to spend nursing them back to health, though. :ack2: I can't imagine the pain that poor girl must be in. She won't even be able to move without feeling those ribs every time.

Dennis, Kathy Greer has blown this wayy out of the water, i never told her for sure 100% how much these snakes weighted, and she posted her own version of pictures, to make the shipping look bad. infact there was a heat pack in there. she also made me ship and hold at a hub she failed to pick them up on time and contact me as soon as she got them like i asked. she told me when to ship and where to ship to other then her house. if the snakes were cold then its up to her to get them when they come in. im not going to explain anymore, shes already lied and tried to make me look bad. damage is done but her snakes are alive and well!

This is what the seller sent to me.

So the fact that the heat pack was defective doesn't matter? Guess it's the thought that counts. :rolleyes: It probably wouldn't have hurt to AT LEAST have some styrofoam insulation though. :shootfoot Can't wait to see what excuses this guy comes up with in response to the x-rays. Kathy broke the snake's ribs to make him look bad?

I dont know you at all. I just know the group you referenced and understand why you tried to black ball Rich in this thread that has nothing to do with him.

So there was no insulation in the box... did the snake or snakes, receive the broken bones via shipping?
I had a friend who used to work at FedEx and he told me that they would always throw the packages around (deplorable i know)...

Of course they received them during shipping--not only was there no insulation, but as you can clearly see, no packing materials at all. Nothing to prevent them from being thrown around inside the box.

I first started following this issue on Facebook, and I have to say, amongst all this mess, I am so very glad that Kathy is now in possession of these poor girls. Kathy seems to be a wonderful caregiver, we all know how expensive veterinary costs (especially X-rays) can be, Kathy appears to be doing more than many owners would to be sure these animals will be okay. Technically, when a damaged "product" is received, it is most appropriate to have them shipped back for a refund, but anyone who would be willing to put a snake with many broken ribs back on a plane, only to be shipped out to someone else the same way they were is inhumane. Kathy, you should get the $133 for shipping, as well as the $79 for the poor snake who suffered as a result of his idiocy.
I wish them the best of luck. My heart is happy for these snakes now that they are in the hands of such a wonderful person.

Let me add that I would very much like to see you get much, much more out of this than just a little over $200, but it is the least Shane should give you.

I think there should be some form of compensation here. That's insane to ship those 4 adult BP's with no insulation...
