    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ron Billingsley- Bad Deal

Like mentioned before, Ron no longer sells animals himself to the public, instead he is the owner and operator of several shows in the midwest and has a few vendors that he sells animals to, who in turn sell them at his shows.....its still the same old crap, instead he doesn't have the backbone to stand behind the junk he sells anymore so he has someone else do it for him. Stay far, far away from his shows (I only know of the one in Noblesville, one in Evansville, and Forth Worth, Indiana but he has a couple other shows as well) and anyone who vends them! Better safe than sorry.

David, that part, in bold, is a bit of an unfair statement to make. I, personally, do not attend, or vend at, Ron's shows but I know that not everyone, who does (or who has), is one of Ron's "lackeys" (for lack of a better word at this time).
People just need to use their best judgment, etc., no matter which show they decide to go to for a purchase. There are good, & bad, in most all shows.
For those who do not want to go to one of his shows, the good news is that there are a few other Indiana shows that are not run by him.

Meant to add that Ron also has a show, or two, outside of Indiana. Although I cannot recall, right this moment, which one/s.

IMO, if you vend at his shows then you support what he is about and I want nothing to do with anyone who thinks how he operates is OK.

David...He himself vends at Taylor. I saw him last weekend.

STAY AWAY from Ron Billingsley. I personally heard enough about him early on that I have been able to avoid the mistake of dealing with him, but others have not been so lucky. There are shows around my area that Ron has literally been banned from. That alone speaks volumes. I've never been to any of the shows he runs, and I do not plan on going because I simply do not want to be associated with Ron on any level, but hopefully they do not reflect his reputation. If I see his name in connection with something, I stay away from it just to be safe. I know he also tries to sell animals in the Facebook group "Indiana Reptile Classifieds" and he posts ads on Craigslist. The decision to buy from him is a personal one, but just make sure you are educated about everyone you deal with before you do anything.
