In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Thomas Dorn - aeterrabyte

You're not even making sense anymore. Healthy snake = refund. Unhealthy snake = negligence.

Like I said it will be sent back as healthy as it would be in your care as it was in mine. Just a normal ball python environment. Hide, heat, food, water. Everything all my other healthy snakes have.

Like I said before. The vet deemed it generally unhealthy do to things outside of my control. Either there were inherited or picked up at your facility is something for you to figure out.

Rob is it impossible to say some other member local to Tom to pick this snake up and finish off its rehabilitation. And then when its healthy send it back to you or buys it from you.

Cause I feel longer its in his care faster itll die.

She WAS healthy Saturday, right Thomas? I mean I know you would have sought care or notified me the minute you knew something was wrong...

I did man. I notified you. You can tell from my email i sent that i was very upset about it. I am sorry to be fresh, but this is really aggravating. I feel bad for everyone involved in this situation. You got to understand (if it's not ibd) sometimes things just go wrong in development. You should take the snake back and give it a home.

Your the breeder. You should want the customer to be happy. It's not rocket science to keep a ball python. You also should not accuse me out the bat of being a bad keeper with out first hearing from the vet, and posting my address online. That really pissed me off.

Your the one breeding snakes. You have the liability. Sometimes you loose money in business it happens. I am asking for you to do the responsible thing right now. Lets just wrap this up.

You told me Sunday. Saturday it was fine, right? Yes or no, Thomas.

Rob. Rob. This is the asked and answered question. I told you this already. Friday I changed her water. saturday she ate. sunday she was twisted and looked very very dehydrated with dimples in her skin. I keep telling you this.

I think he made it when he saw the snake doing what it did in the video. Moron. Your an idiot. Why doing you watch the video. Are you fn blind? Gezes.
Typical. You've put yourself in an indefensible position, so you just attack. Right out of the ol' Scammer's Handbook. Nope, I'm far from an idiot. Like many here, I simply have the capacity and the inclination to look things over rationally. Sadly, for you, that's led me to firmly believe that your word is as worthless as your ability to properly keep reptiles.

There are quite a few reasons that a snake could manifest neurological dysfunction. The simple fact that this happened literally overnight is probably the single biggest indicator of the extreme likelihood of it being caused by environmental factors (your husbandry). I'd have to think that any competent vet. would know and acknowledge that, not only is it not possible to make a definite diagnosis based on such a cursory examination, but that the aforementioned environmental factors are always a distinct possibility that can't be so easily ruled out. The only way I could even remotely see him siding with you is if you flat-out fabricated whatever details you gave him.

This is absolutly absurd. Even if this guy is a minor, even a MINOR like myself can tell this is demented and wrong. Rob is doing good work and demanded good and honest things Thomas, and you are a proofless, sensless, and brainless!

Where are the notes from the vet?
Where are the updated videos of the snake?
Where are your manners?
Where is your logic?

You claim Rob should be running for your money? I say YOU should be running for YOUR money. I too have been keeping reptiles for two years and I eye these boards like a hawk. I watch some of the best minds in the business rise and fall and teach and learn every flippin' day, and you as a less-than-novice don't even take the time and respect to appreciate the concept of learning? It's one thing to mess up, everyone messes up. It's another thing to mess up, lie, cheat, harm an animal and than expect to get a reward. You sound like an spoiled pre-teen who only cares about the profit. Let me put it in an easy perspective.... Lemonade stands don't work, if you poison all your customers.

This snake needs to ACTUALLY SEE a REAL reptile vet who is qualified and experienced. That vet needs access to THIS VERY BOARD to see what kind of stuff is going on. Then, you need to find out what YOU need to do to make this snake better. This shouldn't even be Rob's problem, but he puts up with you in a VERY generous manner just because by heck he seems like a good guy. If I were Rob, I would have voided any chance of this child scamming me with a perfectly beautiful and decent snake (who, really.... not to talk like I'm some professional.... looks like it's just a stressed little spider baby who needs a little less attention and a little more proper care). I've been playing reptile-keeper for two years, and I KNOW I ain't ready for real reptile collecting and care.... One ball python and a couple of other assorted reptiles is eneogh. Thomas, you need to rationalize, be mature, and realize that regardless of the cause of this situation you need to be poised, composed, honest, and MATURE MATURE MATURE. You are the hatchling complaining to the maws of greater gators, listen to them....

Thomas, he posted the emails. Likely missed your address. No one here will do anything with that. You stated multiple things that could ruin a snake very quickly, especially a young snake. You never take more animals than you can care for at that exact moment. Your double heat tape going front to back leaves no hot cold gradient, and your thought that the snake was dehydrated and needed to be forced water all show heavy inexperience. if you did a google search on any of those, you would likely not have done them. Instead you looked into a very uncommon disease which runs rampant within the time this post has taken up. If I wasn't working, I never would have posted in this, not read more than 2-3 pages. Even after that, I felt rob was more correct in the situation.

The double is so I can put 2 15s sideway if I need too. I know they need a gradient. Those snakes are happy as can be and the box is not sitting on the second tape.

If both sets of tape are set at 88, thatd be the ambient. That is too hot. My tape is only on the back as set at 88. My tubs are 3 feet long. The front sits near 80. And the twisting you keep describing seems like a normal spider freak out. And the dimpled sides could mean shedding is coming?
