Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Thomas Dorn - aeterrabyte

I will call you out on that hearsay. You brought it up. Now, is it IBD or wobble?

He is big enough to not need fauna lets put it that way. I would say he is in the top 10. I have been buying a lot of snakes form him all beautiful stuff. I know he will always sell to me.

That's great, but still hearsay, and still against the rules. But did he say it was wobble or IBD? Are you ready to back off the claims you made about IBD in my collection? And you talk about suing me...

Did you mention to him that this wobble developed overnight? When did you talk to him? You have said many things that are patently wrong.

Show some proof.

we need to see the vet report. Even with that it sounds like your just so set on attempting to scam me even when faced with over mounting evidence that your snake developed a very serious problem within your 30 day period. The problem it developed can not be caused by anything I have done. If not IBD it's just an inborn developmental problem and she would have developed it in your care as well. Stress of shipping could have also been a factor but that still means that the snake is defective.

I still don't know how the report will help, as they did not take any samples to test. What I have killed stems from me working very heavily with wild caught animals some time ago. A lot of baby ball pythons, and Leaf Tail Geckos. You're bound to lose some wild caught stuff. The most recent, and only one this year was a female ball python who did not do well when I lost power for 8 days during hurricane sandy. The temp dropped from 82 being a low to 45 being a high overnight. (power failure happened around 3 am) She was the only animal which did not take the crazy drop in temperature well.
As for your friend or whoever, If he is top 10 in breeding in the USA, then he likely has or had a name on here which he can pull out of the dust. You can not use third party things like that.
Finally, I had said the wobble can be affected by stressful situations. You put that snake through a lot. Any of that could cause the wobble to get worse. On top of it being around 100 grams. Something as small as direct sunlight for too long can do it. An ambient temp of 88 can. A drop from 110 to room temp back to 88 can. Forcing water can. Stress causes the wobble to get worse in some cases. I can not say this statement enough, as this is what likely happened. We all want to be perfect with our care and set ups, but sometimes when an animal needs more precise care, we miss it. Our small mess ups mean a lot more in some animals. Keep amphibians or smaller geckos, both of which I keep, and see what 2 degrees do to them.

Mike you sound like a reasonable dude. Sorry for your losses. But you still are not clear on the facts. This little girl underwent no stress at all! I honesty forgot about her besides feeding and water. I only started messing with her when she was obviously in a lot of distress. I live in austin. These snakes can live outside if need be. In the summer time my room is hot enough not to even need belly heat. We have been getting 70 degree days this winter. It's not a heat issue. She was never subjected to heat above 88 only during shipping when her temp read 110. Rich said it could be developmental. If it's not IBD then that is what it is. Robs got to take her back bottom line.

Much like any - most likely fictitious - seller who'd be inclined to post here vouching for this kid, it'd amount to nothing more than confirmation that money changed hands. Also, like the vet., this nameless corroborator's opinion would be based on little more than a visual inspection(video clips), coupled with whatever - most likely fictitious - drivel Thomas spewed to him.

maybe wile hes talking with the vet you guys can video conference
to make sure that the story isnt one sided and you can both ask the questions you want answers too (if possible not everyone has a video phone)
or if the vet will let rob call him to verify everything from the visit just to be sure proper test and things needed were all taken care of

I'm sure it is probably too late if the appointment is at 4:20, but for future reference, there is an awesome herp vet just a bit further south, in Kyle. Dr. Cord Offerman deals primarily with reptiles and practices at Kyle Animal Hospital.

I never need the vet. My snakes are healthy and very happy and get lots of love and attention from me and my friends. I had 1 sick snake when i first started that needed antibiotics fortaz for scale rot.

Sorry but you only been around for 2 years. To say you will never need a vet is very very irresponsible to the least.

I guarantee you will run into something else in your time, and when you have no vet lined up you will be sorry. If you ever plan on breeding, you will run into the possibility of egg binding, RI from the stress of breeding, males with prolapsed from breeding and so on. NEVER say NEVER

Your making a mound into a mountain. This is just a bad developmental spider gene / possible IBD no body knows unless you do more serious test. The vet said even with IBD only 20% have inclusions in the blood. She did not have inclusions in her mouth tissue I was looking for that with the vet. The snake has not been stressed besides shipping. I am working for a new company busy making a website and have not had time to really handle them. Thats why there was such time between me getting back to rob because. I was only feeding them and changing water for quite some time. The snake is not worth 650 dollars I bought a snake with minimal wobble for breeding. This snake will make a good pet snake if she is able to eat and drink. I don't know if that is even possible at this point.

I got a vet. The austin pet and bird is fine. The dude used to keep ball pythons what more do you want. He said he also used to keep corn snakes.

You cant tell by visually inspecting the snake if its carrying IBD unless the liver, stomach, brain, pancreas is biopsied. You need to stop with these rantings man, just dug a huge hole with this post about what the vet said. Your saying this from search results from others who ASSUME what IBD does. Mouth Tissues can not determine IBD

You are now throwing around statements im sure the vet never said. Why say IBD testing not needed, then start with percentages that are still UNKNOWN to the most respected IBD researcher in the industry.

Not that there's any doubt about the abject lack of husbandry knowledge that Thomas displays, but I thought I'd point out a post that he just made in another thread. Not only is he advocating cohabitation, he's also advocating blatant cross-contamination during quarantine.

In nature the snakes get most of there heat in the morning time so that is primarily when they need it as well. I also keep some young normal females together and they seem to be best buddies that is always an option. You can move one snake into another ones, and keep these 3 together in quarantine.
The text in bold is a shining example of just how little comprehension he has. He probably thinks that it's cute when one's curled up on top of another one. What he chooses to see as a sign of affection, those of us with more experience see as competition or dominance.

I used to keep many animals, i wouldnt claim to be an expert in them. Just cause a vet kept a certain species and bred them means squat. Ball Pythons can be bred by a 2 year old, THey are a set it forget it type species on breeding.

Your bird exotic vet is lacking in the knowledge in snakes and it shows by your responses of what he said and what you say.

I am talking about looking with a microscope. I beg to differ with you. I am currently in a PhD program for physics. I don't want to hold that over anyones heads. some inclusions can be seen with the eye

How are you in a PhD physics program but you can't use the right form of "you're/your"? You are conducting yourself very differently from page to page.
