In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Thomas Dorn - aeterrabyte

Thomas, I usually just skim through these threads with not a whole lot to say...but man, you are delusional. You JUST said the snake was back to "no better, no worse than the 2nd day" which at that time you were perfectly happy with it. Unless I'm missing something, you're making a hell of a late chase for BOI "tool of the year".

Rob is fine, and will continue to be fine...I highly doubt there's anything in this thread that will do his business much harm. At this point, I'm shocked that he hasn't put you out to pasture and is still willing to work towards a resolution, despite your trolling, false accusations, crappy husbandry, and the likelihood of damaging the snake he sent you. You should end it all here, do exactly what he asks of you, and settle it while he's still being nice enough.

I mean the second day it was ill.

What also sucks I have to now pay a laywer to contact fauna to remove this thread because of rob

this just sucks beyond comprehension....

Okay, I am going to bed. That last one did me in.

Tomas, let me know when I can talk to the vet. If the snake is healthy, I'll be glad to refund your money. If not, not.

It appears as if you could not afford to run tests on the snake at the vet; you claim it was ill but only paid the basic visit fee with no additional diagnostic tests (that is, if there was a visit at all, until the seller talks to the vet, I have my doubts especially since there was a misspelling of the name of the business on the letter you provided) If you could not afford proper care for this snake, how are you going to afford a lawyer?

I have a few legal questions that I'm hoping someone with some legal knowledge can give some insight into.

1. If both parties agreed to the terms(30 day health and satisfaction guarantee) at the time of sale, isn't that what will be the deciding factor in any type of legal battle?

2. If Tom is in fact a minor which has been suggested but not addressed, wouldn't a refund be automatic since it's not legal to enter into a contract with a minor?

3. If a lawsuit was filed and this were to go to court, would it be in Texas or California? The "goods" were bought, paid for, and delivered in Texas.

Please remember, I'm looking for legal knowledge, not someones opinion of how it should be. In the end, it's the legalities involved that will win out, not public opinion.

Thomas is over 21 years old, so he isn't a minor. The case will have to be in Ca.
He claims to be pursuing a PhD in physics. He does appear to have a Paypal account. It is difficult to assess his age especially in light of his less than mature behavior.
