It appears one-sided because manny chose to continue the discussion on FB. Apparently, objective opinions scare him, so he's decided to hash it out among friends. If you read the FB posts that Jendee has copied, you're likely to see a noticeable difference in the tone of the responses. I don't think it's an accident that he'd rather be among those who choose to be part of his little group. That's not even taking into consideration the fact that, over there, he can make any post he dislikes completely disappear.

She likely sold it because she believed that it fully accounted for the "credit" that manny said she was due, well before the extra breeding season was discussed. If that's the case, I completely agree with her interpretation of their correspondence. From very early on, he made it clear that he felt he owed her something. At NO point - until after she asked for her own snake back - did manny ever specify that her continued possession of the VPI was in any way definitely contingent on him keeping her snake for an extra breeding season.

You may choose to say that I've based my opinion solely on my obvious dislike of manny, and that I'm acting out some vendetta. It wouldn't surprise me. However, even after being witness to his lies, and still choosing to put yourself in the position where you subsequently suffered first-hand from his misrepresentation, you still support him. From an objective standpoint, I'd have to think that my own stance is the more rational of the two.

I'm not supporting him, I'm just genuinely trying to be objective. It's true though, Manny has the capability to come on here and defend himself, but chooses not to. I suppose in that case it's no surprise that the thread has seemed one-sided.

Jendee's Squaretail he's using on his website to represent Squaretails. He took that image from her Facebook.

Wow, did she give him permission to use that image?

And I agree, based on the pricing on his website, the claim that her squaretail is worth so little seems a bit ridiculous in hindsight.

Well, the other photo that was pulled directly from his site had EXIF data, this one does not. Given his current situation, you would think that he would want to e-mail it so the EXIF data could be seen.

Facebook Legally has to wipe EXIF data once uploaded to their servers for safety of users. Therefor all EXIF data is gone on any photo pulled from FB.

Manny and Jendee get confused each one on his own sides in a lot of ways, it happened a lot but Jendee never, ever should have sold that Male VPI T+.

But unfortunately that's the way that things happened, Jendee you make a huge mistake selling that animal in the first place so, I don't understand what are you arguing if you can't make an effort to give him back the animal that he send it to you.

All the other crap about the photography, and the saturation, the temperature, the contrast, the way he label his animals, his prices, etc, it's only that, crap. I feel that those arguments are out of line in so many wrong ways...

I believe every one is taking out their frustrations with this problem.

And Jendee I don't know you and I don't think you are a bad person but I truly believe that this is the worse way to resolve this problem, I also believe that this is a problem between two grow guys and those two can solve it with his/her owns hands.

BTW in the last post from Manny I understand that he will send you a pair of KW het sqtl not that he will screw you up!

Why shouldn't she have been able to sell her own property? Until well after she took possession of it, it was never specifically stipulated that her continued ownership was absolutely contingent on manny keeping her snake for a second season. Again, the "credit" was offered to her before any agreement came, regarding his retaining the squaretail for a second season. Even when she offered to let him keep it, and he subsequently accepted, it still wasn't explicitly stated that her acquiring the T+ was dependent on him keeping her snake.

That's a very interesting perspective. Pointing out his abject dishonesty is out of line? Calling attention to the fact that we now have at least one confirmed example of him photographically misrepresenting a snake is somehow irrelevant? Ambiguous wording - which, for all we know, may be intentionally done to trick newbs - shouldn't be addressed? Those are very odd ideas. Especially considering that this particular forum was designed, in part, to call attention to just such practices.

Aside from quietly letting manny get his way, nothing would have been accomplished by not taking this public. If you'd actually read all of the correspondence, you'd see that their very long discussion was going nowhere. If/when people can't privately come to an amicable resolution, the BOI has a proven track record of helping to apply pressure to continue working toward that resolution. If a resolution can't be reached, all of the information is still here for us to interpret and use to gauge who was in the wrong, and to factor that information into any future considerations of involvement with any given party.

Unfortunately, in this situation, one side just can't stand to be told that he's wrong, so he threw his typical hissy-fit and took his ball home. He's shown a blatant disregard for truth, and would prefer to hash this out in a forum where he can bask in the adoration of those who he allows to post there. Pretty weak, if you ask me. Not even remotely out of character for him, but disappointing all the same.

If you read all the content you can know that Jendee accept the T+ deal thats allow Manny to have the Sqtl for another season, so it was a compensation.

That is something that Jendee could beat in the moment that she received the T+, but she agreed, even she told him that she was happy...

Not as immature as the majority of Manny's comments and handling of a previous BOI thread that was also treated like a joke.

Just because I have never had a dealing with someone else does not mean I cannot have an opinion of them, especially when they give me insight into themselves via public means such as ... well, let's say a forum and/or Facebook.

What it all boils down to is whether someone has good or bad character. As of right now, Manny is not really showing himself with an excessive amount of the good. I have no desire to wrongly "pollute" anyone's name, but if they want to sit there and throw the sludge on it themselves, who am I to stop them?

I can honestly say I've never been in a situation where I've been accused of these kinds of things. I'm not perfect, but I'm not a liar either. You don't have to be perfect to be honest with your customers.

I'm having a difficult time following your line of logic. What exactly have I done that is immature? I never called someone names, or degraded anyone, or made immature comments towards anyone. Manny, however, has.

I have never claimed to be perfect, I do not think anyone here has. Yes, I have made mistakes, the point is, I have corrected my mistakes and I have no made a fool of myself in a public setting that could be viewed by thousands per day.

Jendee has her own past issues that have tainted her reputation and that is something she has to accept and I am not going to sit here and pretend they do not exist, but in this instance, Manny is in the wrong.

The issues pertaining to the photos, pertaining to Manny's inaccurate information in various locations, the issues of his claims to what the animal is worth, these are all relevant to the problem at hand. Whether or not they are directly related to the snake being returned or not is irrelevant. It paints the picture of an immature, selfish, snide individual who lacks the capacity to defend and conduct himself in a professional manner.

Manny thinks the BOI is a joke. Manny people who get Bad Guy Threads do.

Manny claims that the animal is largely worthless to him and he sells hundreds of snakes a year so what point is there then to hold onto an animal that is clearly causing him so many headaches? The VPI that was given to Jendee was done so in a manner that the verbage used to designate its purpose leaves it up for interpretation. Neither party can definitively prove it was for 2012 or 2013, therefore, Manny really just needs to let it go. If he really thinks that animal was worth 1200.00 - 1500.00, he is delusional.

For every one person that comments on a BOI thread, dozens more just sit and read it. Posting is not a requirement for having read and visited the thread. Some will choose to not care about Manny's actions and some will. It's as simple as that. You can question them and they can answer or they can refuse, but people going against one view point or another are not being "immature" and do not need to "grow up".

It's because they are worried that other people will get bad deals from Manny also. The reason for this website is to warn people about bad deals and bad people. This is a small community, and we try to take care of each other. That includes warning each other about bad deals.

Out of curiosity have you ever dealt with either of them?

To answer your question I am on one other forum with Jendee but haven't really spoken to her that much as she has been pretty inactive til recently.
