    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No not if she needs life support to survive.

The people who post peoples names so people can talk about them need to move on.

The people that are over interested in this forum need to move on.

The people who need to "move on" are the ones who breed snakes with known health problems.

You need to move on because you can't accept that it's possible for the snake to have an inborn problem.

You should not be breeding snakes with that attitude. It's not good for the genome.
 
So I have read this whole thread and just wow.

Here's how I see it:

1. You received a snake with little to no wobble which you claim arrived over heated, which you then failed to mention to the seller.

2. You said you were happy with her.

3. She ate 2 or 3 times.

4. She went into shed, causing her skin to look crinkly and causing the wobble to be exaggerated.

5. Your inexperience led you to believe she was dehydrated and you force fed her water, stress once again leading her wobble to be exaggerated.

6. She shed and is now back to her original little to no wobble.

7. Despite the above, despite your refund no being confirmed and despite Rob not giving you permission to send him back the snake you are insisting on sending her anyway, thus endangering her life.

Conclusion:

Rob owes you nothing. He sold you a perfectly healthy snake. You are pushing to send her back so PP or your Cc company with issue a refund no questions asked, no matter what the risk to the snake.

As for "if you use PayPal you accept there terms." Rightio then. Maybe you should accept that PayPal does not cover the sale of live animals.

Also any chance of a new video of her, with today's paper in. As it wouldn't surprise me if at this point you have killed her and are pushing to send her back to say she was DOA.


To Rob: I am not in your neck of the woods, Im in the UK BUT if I was I would have no issue buying from you after reading this thread and if anything I think this thread has only strengthen your reputation.

Very good point here. How do we know "Yellow" isnt in a freezer already?

Can you provide proof she is still alive? A video is preferred.
 
Yellow is alive and well. If she dies on the return Rob is to blame.

That's just how contractual agreements work.

Sorry if this is new to you. But you got to learn sometime or other.

This one is not for me.

I only work with healthy animals.

All of my stuff is top quality.
 
I am sending her back the best way possible and she will make it ok. If he leaves her in the hub out of spite there is nothing I can do about that. This is just part of the return process.

I beg to differ with you.

The snake is not mine. I am actually returning abandoned property to rob.

That's why it's his responsibility to be there to accept the package, by refusing to provide me with a time to send. He as actually waived any rights he may have to a live arrival.
 
Rob, he's lying to you. He's saying to many thing that either contradict himself or absolutely make no sense. If he sends that snake back, unauthorized, I would hold it until the chargeback clears (if it even exists) and only refund him for what it auctions for. I think he's banking on the fact that you are a good guy and won't leave him with nothing if he returns it.

Yet again, your inexperience speaks volumes. Most hatchlings won't take their first meals until 3-5 weeks in. The first two weeks they are shedding and it's not out of the norm for them to take another couple weeks to eat, especially if you are trying to start them on rats.

All these hearsay comments are making it worse for Rob. You should just really mind your own business.

I have a copy of the add where it says that. I just don't feel like typing it all in right now. Your the one that is inexperienced. You don't know everything, or what went wrong with this snake.

If you actually had any experience you would understand the snakes neurological problems.

Unfortunately your just another backyard breeder trying to make a quick buck, and don't really care producing snakes without neurological issues.
 
I spoke to the credit card company and if they said he don't want to take it back then I don't have to return it. So I actually don't have to and I can keep the money.

He has said in the forum that he does not want it back? Yea he has...

Basically I am just forwarding thread to them highlighting the fact he is not cooperating with the return of the snake...
 
Wow. This really took a turn for the depressing. Thomas, I really don't know what to say. It seems like you're using this animal's life as leverage to get what you want. I really don't know how you managed to get this far in academia without being able to suck it up sometimes and admit your initial (baseless) conclusions were wrong. I think trying to get any sort of apology for anything would be like getting blood from a stone at this point, but I hope that you at least release Yellow from your care to someone who will do right by her.

Keep them coming. I am talking to the schools lawyer and we are going to get all those e mails from each professor you sent. Once that happens that will be included in my case against this site to have my name and address removed.

You are lying. If you spoke to an attorney, he or she would tell you to stop talking here, and let them handle any issues. That is obviously not happening.
As well, you name and address are public information.
