I am not responsible for what happens after that. If you leave her to die in the hub or what not.
The people that are over interested in this forum need to move on.
That's just how contractual agreements work.
Sorry if this is new to you. But you got to learn sometime or other.
That's why it's his responsibility to be there to accept the package, by refusing to provide me with a time to send. He as actually waived any rights he may have to a live arrival.
All these hearsay comments are making it worse for Rob. You should just really mind your own business.
Once that happens that will be included in my case against this site to have my name and address removed.
I'm not going to begin to wager which way the credit card company comes down on this or Paypal in the end.
There are a few things that I will. First, this insignificance of this forum you keep talking about and the continual threats of suing the site.
The forum members here belong to just about every reptile site out there as well. The forum members that participate here are also business owners, reptile show sponsors, promoters, venders, sellers and buyers.
You may think that your participation here doesn't matter but what I can guarantee is that your reputation and the way you handle this situation will follow you regardless.
Heck, I have already seen two people that run shows in Texas viewing this thread. I wonder if they are going to want someone of your caliber selling at their shows?
You may think it's cute that your spouting off terms like "abandoned property"
and "he waived his rights to live arrive" "how contractual agreements work"
How do you plan on shipping animals from your website? It's not going to be certified FedEx or using a online reptile shipping company. You stated plainly here on this thread that you are going to ship a animal without a guarantee time, address and could careless if it dies in the hub.
Your credit card company may say that's perfectly fine but I doubt FedEx and other online reptile shipping companies are going to have you as a customer. Sending animals without confirmation to be picked up, address or time is unacceptable. Stating you would care less if the animal dies in the hub I can guarantee you will regret. I doubt the ASPCA in Austin will find it acceptable either.
Don't need hearsay or anything else but your own words.
Hmm, I'm actually concerned about all your animals.
So you just continue your threats of a frivolous lawsuit against this site.
Individuals are responsible here for their individual posts not the site.
Let me give you a individual post to concentrate on.
Thomas Dorn is doing business on this site as "aeterrabyte" He is using the address
404 e 30st
unit302
austin, tx 78705
to conduct his business here. His name and address phone number are also connected to his facebook account and website.
My personal opinion is his husbandry needs improvement and his statements about providing less heat, "that snakes only really need heat in the morning" and that they "become best buddies" when he puts multiple snakes in a single tub together to save on space or provide less heat (whatever his point was) is concerning. Also that he finds it acceptable to ship a snake without a confirmed time, address or guarantee to pick-up.
That he publicly stated that it was OK to do so because his credit card company told him so. That if it dies "Oh well, it's not his fault".
I find it laughable that he typed all this, provided his address and information freely to conduct business, states on his website that he has a breeding facility and admits that he would send in animal to its death without a confirmed pick-up. The try to cover it all up with an attempt at a lawsuit to get his own words removed.
Again, My personal opinion is I wouldn't want to do business with such a person.
