    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy My experience with Underground Reptiles

If you'll notice that in this picture the wall paper in the picture is the same as the cage picture. Excuse me for only having a picture of the opposite window shot from my kitchen side to post the first time since I don't sit at home taking pictures of my partitions. The first picture I had to crop out my daughters friends head. I was only showing its not a window. Do you need more pictures of my home??

That does not look like the same window at all. Also, there is a noticeable lack of door on either side of the window in the top picture as well as a change in wallpaper. Am I wrong? :shrug01:

Other people have pointed out inconsistencies in your story as well.

good observation. you'll also note the overexposure in the window above the enclosure which would indicate sunlight. the snake was clearly set up next to an actual window.
 
If you and Darwin would look at the picture I just posted and notice it's not a window and actually read my recent post you would see its not near a window. How many pictures of my house do you need. Again here is the supposed "window" same wall paper!!!

how about a shot just like the original you took of the cage but zoomed out more so we can better see the window and the door next to it. the last picture you took looks like you shoved a cage between a wall and a door. it doesnt seem to be the same area.
 
come to think of it, the last picture you posted TOTALLY looks like a different spot. is that cage stuffed between a wall and a bookcase? i see a book on egyptology (or something like it) in the picture in what appears to be a bookcase.
in the original picture your cage was next to a door.

Why not post a clear picture the first time that will prove your point instead of getting defensive when people try to clear up the situation? :rolleyes: And if that is your daugher's friend's head, you didn't crop it out. I would be pretty pissed as a parent if I found my daughter's picture on some random reptile forum.
 
Here is a close yet zoomed out picture. The door you think you see I'm not sure of its a bookcase. And then the doorway into my kitchen.

Ahhh I see. That does clear that up. :) It was just strange that the original picture of the cage had that much overexposure outside of the "window" so that it looked like it was an exterior window.
 
I think the cropped area in my screenshot is what is confusing some people. If you look at the top area that I outlined in red, it appears to be showing outside light, as if that were the edge of an opening. The hinge in the lower part of the shot also gives the impression of a doorway. Is there a window directly behind the book case?

Yes, it appears the "door" everyone was referring to was actually the book case. The hinge is the hinge on the bottom cabinets and the "window" of the door was actually the edge of a yellow book.
 
The OP has been very forthcoming with answering all questions and providing as much information as possible at this point. So, for me at least, I do not doubt her story.

The issues I have are still with
1. Outback shipping out reptiles that have only been with them for a matter of weeks, thus no real quarantine could have taken place in such a short amount of time. But still claiming the animal was healthy when shipped.
2. Outback shipping out reptiles with very obvious mite infestations. Again still claiming the animal was healthy when shipped. (this is not the first time we've seen this from them over the years and no a mite infestation is not healthy)
3. Outback selling/supplying customers with a non-regulated "custom mixture" of chemicals for mite treatment. Which is an illegal practice as pointed out earlier by Lucille in her post of exact government regulations regarding chemicals.
4. Outback side stepping or just flat out ignoring very simple questions by potential customers and others viewing this thread claiming that they aren't here to address anyone but OP and her issues and that we should just report them if we think they're doing something wrong.

You'd think if they weren't doing anything wrong then they'd have no issue in providing a simple yes or no answer to very clear questions and proof that they are on the up and up when it comes to manufacturing/selling/supplying chemicals/pesticides to customers.
 
To the question about the bookcase. No it's not in front of a window. Also. Underground has stated they refuse to work with me since myself. My family and friends have posted so negatively towards them.
