Its been said by Bill before, but seeing as you seem to have a problem with his posts allow me to repeat.

Accepting a payment for goods through Paypal's Gift option is a direct violation of the Paypal TOS and is incredibly shady. When funds are sent through the gift option, or any other option under the personal tab on Paypal's send money page, the buyer is stripped of any protection Paypal would be able to offer. So, if someone sends you $750 as a gift and you never ship a snake...well that money is a gift after all so what can be done? A dispute can not be opened against you and the buyer basically needs to accept that they lost that money, unless they wish to pursue other legal options.
By stating you ONLY accept Paypal marked as a gift says something about you, you either don't want to pay the fees Paypal charges for processing funds, or you want to screw the buyer.
Now, if it was fees you were worried about, its incredibly easy to factor funds into the final price, they even have nifty calculators online for that!

Furthermore, the fact that you illegally sold snakes and are perfectly fine with that tells me something of your character. I highly doubt you'd have any moral problem with stealing money from some poor sucker.

If you've had so many good online deals before, then maybe you should try contacting these people, seeing as they are online after all. Go on and see if they can come forward and sing your praises, like you're wanting.

The simple fact that you refuse to accept Paypal any other way should be enough to tell people to avoid you whenever possible.

And, a note to anyone reading: If a seller insists on you sending funds via the gift option on Paypal, don't do it. Go ahead and send your payment using the goods option, the worst that can happen is them complaining and needing to refund you. At least you'd still be protected.

I don't want anyone to come forward on my behalf I stand on my own 2 feet I don't need anyones help I am not ashamed that I sold Burmese pythons I'm not denying it I don't give a f*** my name is Burmbreeder for a reason I have bred for many years and that's that as far as accepting PayPal I don't accept paypal if you want to send PayPal as a gift that's your choice I'm not requiring it I don't accept it if you want to buy something for me you can send me a wire transfer a money order there is a lot of people who don't accept paypal if you think that's a scam well that's fine how many scams are perpetrated by people using Pay Pal who receives snakes and then say they didn't receive snakes and get a full refund

Oh...you don't? Then why, pray tell, in an email which you posted did you state you accepted payment through money transfer OR paypal marked as a gift?
Paypal is not accepted by several dealers, and these are all people I would avoid personally. I only accept Paypal because my buyer's are protected and I like that. Would someone be able to open a dispute after receiving an animal I sold them? Sure, they can open a dispute whenever they want within 45 days of the transaction clearing. Would they win the dispute? As long as I can provide proof that I shipped the animal advertised to their address and have proof it was received, then no, they wouldn't win and Paypal would release the funds back into my account.
Is that a problem for you? Do you get a lot of people receiving animals you sold them and claiming they weren't what they were advertised to be?

like I said Bill you have no idea what you're talking about when I kept Burmese pythons they were legal to sell outside of New York I had 1 female that before the ban what is gravid I did not want to ship her being gravid are eggs were laid and born after the band went into effect so what you're saying is I should have not incubated the eggs and send them on their way probably right that would have save me a 5000 dollar fine but the snakes would be dead just the same I don't really think I need to explain anymore about the Burmese python issue to anyone else everyone knows I got arrested the snakes a dead I paid a fine it's enough


the reason that I kept the eggs and kept the snakes is because a wholesaler told me that it would be legal to ship the snakes across state lines as long as the more the animals were marked for export 1 person did ship the snakes from Texas to Florida for exports and was charged I was not willing to do that but like I said nobody cares

You did something ON PURPOSE that broke the law and seriously negates the positive actions of law abiding herp keepers everywhere.

That little blurb from the paper will be tossed around by hundreds of anti snake anti reptile people as proof that reptiles keepers don't follow the rules. I've seen it happen time and time again. We get your (and anybody else who does what YOU did) stupid pinned on us.
