    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No, my problem is with the breeder. She sends ambilobe when I ordered Sambava. Then sends DOA and agrees to refund but does not. Zach spent $1k and received nothing, and others here are having problems with her as well. You should re-read this entire thread.
 
Can someone please break this down for me in a paragraph or two of Who she has "screwed over" and how? Skimming through to me it seems the only one with a legitimate complaint its tkilgour but I even think his problem may be more with FedEx then the breeder.

I don't believe Zach posted she gracefully refunded him.

There is some discussion about false statements about the descriptions of animals she is selling. Is that not a legitimate complaint?

Just skimming, I think I found a few more than just Tom's.
 
Yeah, I don't think anyone has posted they have received a hassle free refund when dealing with this seller when something went wrong.

Actually, I don't see anyone stating they received any refund directly from her.
 
Serena, Tom, Zach and Victoria have not posted they have received any refund from her as of yet.

That's four bad transactions that have occurred in a short period of time.

The bottom-line is how she handles such problems and how they are resolved.
 
I truly believe Mcbricker has some kind of friendly relation with April Quackenbush. His positive posts very much resembles the one other positive post. If he can't see all the bad business practices from this thread, something is terribly wrong.

Also, I have just informed Jim at The Chameleon Company and he is very unhappy. He has deep pockets and isn't the guy April wants to tick off.

My name is April and I am sure you can see the mess that is going one. I do not want to name names however; I feel that is the only way to get an issue resolved. At this point in time, I will not be responding to any of the posts that are in the BOI as it will only engage the situation further in a negative remark at this point.

To start, I am not a scammer, and the ONLY reason I am writing to you was because it was suggested by a customer who gives you extreme credit for problem solving.

I have had many customers, but up until Tom Kilgour I have not had one single issue, Tom purchased a lot of ten chameleons from me, I shipped five in the first shipment and five in the second, however; with the second shipment fedex was hours late and babies were not in good condition. (I never received a picture from Tom). I said I would refund and did an echecl from my paypal, but was told to promptly cancel that because it was an issue with FedEx and not paypal. Tom did not like this whatsoever, and immediately went to the BOI.

In the meantime, I had a shipment going out to Zach Valios, but because he is friends with Tom Kilgour they teamed up, and Zach canceled his order and requested an immediate refund, I have been working with paypal for years and they do not support live animals, so I expressed to Zach that it would not be paypal issued and immediately got a certified check, which was returned because Zach was not there to receive (I still have the check).. However the day it was returned to the home, i received a text that it was here but did not know why it was returned because I was not home to see it and I was at work, so I immediately sent Zach an email letting him know and said that I could send him a wire transfer or if he would le me know another solution I was open to options but would have to be outside of paypal. He never responded to my email and went and followed Tom here on the Bio.

Serena had made a deposit on a baby (which by the way all my customers know these are babies 4-10 weeks depending on locale and when they were hatched, and that is why they were so cheap) but because she read Tom and Zach's posts she canceled and requested an immediate refund and started in on the Bio as well.

Last but not least, Victoria Petit, purchased two babies in February one of which died, I replaced no questions asked, she received her replacement on 3/13 She confirmed receipt but I never heard anything from her until a text yesterday stating that she wanted a refund for everything, and that she has already filed claims on paypal (paypal which denied) she never told me there was an issue, but she did constantly text me over and over asking how to care for them. It was her neglagence and she was not experienced because she was asking me even what types of lights to use. Paypal denied her claims.

In the meantime, once victoria and serena started in on the BOI and my customers who have dealt with me and all have great things to say, Zach wrote me an email threatening my life ( I still have all the emails) I am a surrogate pregnant with twins, I do not have time to engage with these people who have too much time on their hands, I am receiving threats and VERY inappropriate private messages from people calling me a bitch a scammer that I should die karma's a bitch and I will get mine soon etc. I did always answer any calls, text, emails, immediately and was and had no problem trying resolve the matters at hand, but now that threats have started and I have contacted my local police department, I am at my wits end, Tom has ade this situation way more than what it is and it is absolutely unacceptable to act as childish as they are.

I am choosing not to respond to the BOI, as I am not selling anything, I don't plan on selling anything, and I would like my account to be deleted. I am in fear for my life as Tom is going beyond Fauna by harrassing me on my facebook page (which was deactivated today) demeaning my character on other forums which I am not on. I absolutely do not know what to do. I will not engage in something that is not necessary. I gave these people an opprotunity to work it out with me, but because it wasn't in there immediate time frame (within the hour) things have gotten out of control.

My customers whom I have had no issues with, are defending me and everything is being ignored and Tom and Zach are continuing to badger and nothing is even being said. They are full of it, but they definitely are a pair in this.

I have emails etc, to prove my case to you, but I will not be partaking in the BOI to continuously get attacked and threatened.

I would appreciate any help or idea to help resolve this matter, but having a problematic pregnancy as it is I am not suitable to deal with this stress and that is why I have excused myself from participation.

And kilgour the name is MBRICKER there's no "C" . She said she told you the sambavas weren't doing well that's why she sent you the amilobes. And she said the nosy be's fed ex delivery was 5 hours late which is why they showed up deceased.

How it was explained to me was that victoria doesn't know how to correctly keep a young cham, I have a boy from the same "parasite" ridden clutch. He's 100% healthy.

Zach's order is still underway from what she told me and she is still in her timeline to send them to him. Plus this guy is a nut and said he's going to put her 6 feet deep haha

And as far as refunds go with all your complaints her PayPal has been shut down so I'm not sure how she's going to handle that now.

But this is what she told me, settle down kilgour don't kill the messenger.

If you don't know her outside of business, why is she telling you all this?
 
And don't you think if we knew about it dick tracy aka dennis hultman would have found out? haha He put the girls Facebook, website, and he even found her MYSPACE . I couldn't even find my own myspace if I tried.

Seems these event have stirred me from my slumber, and I logged in for the first time in about 5 years.

For the record, I checked every name that I came across, and if you have been a customer of mine, it would seem to have been by a name not yet in this thread. So I do not know who you are except by what is in this thread.

Seems you have gotten yourself into a pickle. I do not know what is in your heart, or your true credibility. What does seem apparent is that you have tried to fill orders in too much haste, in essence having more dead animal claims in two months than I have had in 12 years. That is such an unnecessary waste of your assets, and customer faith. And their money.

I am not saying that small chameleons cannot be successfully shipped. I do not recommend such, to be sure. I can understand how a home-hobbyist type of a set-up can be overwhelmed with feeding and housing quantities of hatchlings, such as to create an incentive to move them out quickly, but now you see the downside to such. Dead animals and you owe folks a lot of money, with less resources by which to make good.

Try to regroup. Warmer weather is soon upon us, which will help with the shipping losses, and it is also clearly worth the effort to raise animals until they are a bit larger so as to arrive healthy after transit.

You told me you had no idea your echeck was cancelled and that paypal actually took you money. You also said, "paypal made a mistake and was reviewing your bank statements"


I gave you well over a week, and listened to excuse after excuse how you would refund me. Of course, you never did and still have not to this day.
 
Oh, and Rich Z. I am sorry to have ignored your last PM for 5 years. I literally did not know it was there. Kind of like finding a bottle washed up on the beach. Take care. Nothing personal :blush:

Fauna clearly serves a needed function not well addressed anywhere else in the community. I hope it can help mitigate this mess.
