    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Bobby Hill - Varnyard Herps: Buyers Beware.

Hi everyone. I know you would all like this thread to just die now but i figured id let everyone know that i had a friend of mine email bobby recently and he did respond asking for a moneygram for the full amount. Beware Buyers hes still stealing from whoever he can i hope everyone who wants to get a tegu see's this thread and believes us. Bobby Hill IS a CRIMINAL and i dont want to see anyone stolen from during the holidays. still no refund or tegu for me. I got one however on black friday from a dealer with a less than perfect rep, but it came and has been absolutely my favorite pet ever.
 
I seriously doubt that anyone other than Bobby Hill really wants this thread to die. What I believe people would really like to see is for Bobby Hill to get back on the Good Guy path that according to evidence posted here, he appears to have strayed off of.

With every new post, I suspect people come here hoping to read that Bobby Hill is making amends to those people who he appears to owe money/animals to. But so far, regrettably, that does not seem to be happening.
 
True, I have hoped he would make amends. I agree that no one wants it swept under the rug or to go away. I would love to see Bobby get it together and make everything right. I would love to see everyone prosper and get what they want. But I've been told that I'm a bit naive. :)

We just had someone ask if Bobby was someone to buy from on Facebook.So i thought i would bring this up on the front page so everyone can see it and avoid him.:thumbsup:
 
I ordered a black and white tagu from bobby last sept. He told me it would be ready to ship in may 2013.He required a 75.00 deposit so I sent a money gram. Was shocked when I tried to contact him by phone and realized his number was no longer in service.Very Disappointed and Angry!! I believe a Class Action Law Suit is in order.😡😡
 
Read in the newspaper this morning that Florida Fish & Wildlife captured 30+ black and white tegus in a Panama City neighborhood where their owner, a licensed seller, abandoned them and left town. I had hope he would somehow turn this thing around, the guy did right by me, but my hopes often leave me wanting. The name of the owner wasn't mentioned and I reckon it could be someone other than Bobby Hill but this just seems to fit the man's new M.O. so thought I'd post it here while waiting for confirmation one way or the other.

It'd seem that someone who posted on one of bobby's other Bad Guy threads had some insider info. The following post was made last week. It'd appear that they were bobby's tegus.

She then told me that as of last count there are 27 Tegus that he left behind with some dead from malnutrition. I could only figure that they were in hibernation until recently. She said that she was able to contact Bobby and stated that he does not plan to return to the area. Animal control is going to collect a portion of them at the beginning of the week and then destroy after 5 days if a licensed animal rehabber does not turn up in the area. Then take care of the rest soon after. I will not post her phone number but if someone in the area knows of someone who can help let me know and I'll forward the information to her. I breed snakes and do not have the facilities to assist.

It definitely sucks for all of the neglected animals, but I have to admit to being happy about hearing that a total piece of :censored: like bobby is now apparently on the run. It'd seem that he's not going to be held accountable for all of the people he ripped off; but hopefully they'll nail him for the felony charges associated with releasing exotics into the wild.

Well all the money he stole he will now use to run away. No gain to him. At least a consolation...

The original thread on tegut about the irish lad saved me from getting burned. If people only knew, scum like him wouldn't be able to last for years pulling their schemes

You have misstated the facts here.

For years and years bobby was one of the good guys. He may no longer be a good guy, but for a long time he was one of the best.

He isn't now, but he was. You shouldn't try to take that away from the mess he's made of his life.
 
those poor animals :( this is one more thing against exotics we dont need right now. Whats going to happen to the tegus? are they going to euthanize them or hand them over to a zoo? i cant believe he would do something like this. i mean come on selling off the adults would bring him more cash and atleast they would be in better homes then being let loose. why cant people think of the after effect of their choices? now the animals that got loose are being hunted and bobby is running away with customers money. maybe he'll start another farm under a different name.

If i decide to become a criminal tomorrow, are my criminal actions exonerated by my days of no crime? Didn't think so.
 
I cant believe he actually released them...This makes me so sick to my stomach, I almost cant form complete sentences Im so angry. I hope he gets everything he has coming to him.

Not that I'm defending Bobby, but the tegus being released is more realistically the result of an overzealous vigilante rather than Bobby himself.

Bobby was reportedly long gone from that property with the tegus left on it prior to this happening.

Honestly, I wouldn't take this as defending Bobby Hill at all. After all, if he didn't release those large non-native lizards, then apparently someone else did after discovering that Bobby Hill had simply left those animals in their cages to die when he decided to abandon the premises. Either that or those starving lizards managed to escape on their own in desperation. So "defending" someone by saying that they left the animals to slowly starve to death instead of illegally releasing them into the wild isn't really all that much of a warm fuzzy feeling defense.

IMHO.
