    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

limit this site to sells for pet. propagation. education. collecting purposes

So number one, I simply brought this to the attention of whoever in the feedback section, I have apologized many times for my emotional turtle loving baggage, Ive excepted responsibility for my actions by posting in the wrong area and occurring infractions, I commended Rich for making this site, as, in all honesty it is alittle hard to use at times, the rules can be complicated in my opinion, but, BUT, it is my favorite site... besides craigslist... Again, Rich, Moderators, Thank you! truly, I never meant for this to get so out of hand, and yes, I am responsible for most of it maybe, some of my comments included are not the best? I apologize, I just wanted live animal sales for meat.... actual reptiles being harvested from the wild, not bugs in a bin that I produce for my lizards, or beef on a ranch specifically being produced for.... beef.... Rich has a good point... if our Government allows it. heck... then its golden... we do not have to like it, we took our complaint up, Rich, he probably does not like it either... doesn't change the fact that... its legal... and it would SEEM like he is at this point OK with it... Another good point about sponsors like Exo terra... good point, unfortunately Exo produces probably 90% of there items from China, Rich, fellow FC users, if I have offended anyone, sorry, Ive made my point, we are all busy people.. The decision has been made on both sides. Lets move on... I welcome someone to follow the BOI that has been created stating that the picture was stolen from another user.... That may have some legs to stand on... did he steal the pic? will he comment on it?

I will remember that... but if you can find were he said he cared about it, or if you can find where he says... you know what... selling reptile on here for meat isnt a good thing, and it probably makes this site look bad, I WILL LOOK INTO IT.. because, well, I care...

By saying "heres the door leave" that in itself tells me he does not care...


At least on the level of which we are DISCUSSING HERE.... not a personal level, because he stated he would not sell white snakes to buyer for meat, but on a classified website level, which is what I am referring to... I am pretty convinced, he could careless... telling someone to leave because of a conflict of opinions is kind of like..... not really caring... and guess what, he is entitled to nor CARE, here on HIS website or in real life... and guess what? I don't really care either@! My point has been made... I am moving on..

You still don't get it. It has nothing to do with whether he cares, or doesn't care. His policies are in place, and as long as no laws or rules are being broken, then they can sell whatever they want. Bottom line is, you need to get over it. If you can't, then move on.

To that libelous accusation I applied my comment that he can just hit the road if he doesn't like the way I run this site. And it STILL stands. I run this site as best I can, making the decisions that seem best keeping a whole lot more things in mind than the merely superficial knee jerk reactions that some are making here. So, I just can't make it any more black and white than to say that if you don't like the way I run this site, then your exit is just a mouse click away, and begone. This site has been doing fine before you came here, and will do just fine after you are gone. That's just the reality of it.

Heck, Mr. Allen, I just read your accusation again. Tell me again why I should give a crap whether you stay or go when you think it is perfectly OK to make such an accusation about me on MY site?

Can my opinion or Hyperbole be defamatory?-No. Is it a stretch to believe that someone who allows such sales on his website approves of it? Would it be a stretch to believe that if Child Pornography was allowed on a site, that the owners approved of such behavior? And I do not for one second believe that you gave a crap weather I stayed or went prior to this thread. Before you knew who I was you definitely did not give a crap. Seems like you do now. Well maybe not the stay part. I was told by a mod, that this was the place to discuss policy that we do not agree with, is this not the correct forum to disagree with the policies of the classified ad section?
 
Here is the bottom line: This is Rich's website. Not yours. You can sit there and complain all day but it's his say that goes. If you don't like, leave. No one forces you stay here.

Agreed. This is Rich's site. He has made it clear that it is his way or the highway I heard it from him the first time. But is this is or is this aint the forum we are supposed to use when we disagree with Rich? That being said, I accept Rich's answer in that he likes the site just the way it is. That my grievances were heard, and my answer was no.

You are right, I didn't give a crap then. Simply because you never got on my radar screen. And I give even less of a crap (half a crap?) to have you remain here now. "IMHO" might work elsewhere and in other circumstances, but when you are making such accusations ABOUT the owner of a site ON that site, well, do you really think I want to keep the welcome mat out for you? Heck, anyone could say anything derogatory they wanted about me and think they were immune from the "Big Meanie" side of me simply by prefacing the phrases with "IMHO". Do you seriously think that's how it works here?

And yes, this is the forum to discuss the policies of this site, but there does not exist any forum on this site where it it perfectly OK for you to take potshots at me. I'm not really sure how you came to that conclusion, but apparently you did.

So here is a suggestion that I believe will be in your best interests. Go away for a while and I will forget about you eventually. Luckily this sort of crap doesn't stick in my mind for very long. But stay, and every time I see your name online here, I will be reminded about the bitch slap you felt was perfectly OK because you felt "IMHO" gave you some sort of immunity. Eventually I'll get irritated enough of seeing your name here and thinking of this that I WILL ban you. And I can guarantee that the ban will be a LOT longer than the time it will take me to forget you if you just get lost for a while.
