In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good day for me. 1st litter of the season. 3 more to go.Maybe 4 ?

This is my faithful 08 lipstick/coral line sunglow male/ 07 het albino female and her 1st litter.
Rich

Hey Joe.

Here is one with them and a partial clean up. Last year this male gave me 9 sunglows and 9 albinos plus the hypos and hets. This year he slacked on the sunglows. I see one for sure, but there could be orange ones. I also think i have 2 corals in this litter.Totally pink sided. We'll see
No count yet. tomorrow.

Wow, they look great all cleaned up!

Still no count? I know you said tomorrow but I figured I'd ask. :)

I couldnt wait.:D
Its 5 het albino's, 3 hypo hets,6 albino's and 3 sunglows. I have a couple corals in this litter it looks.
I got a very nice het with killer laddertail- get one every year.
This is the first time he gave me more albino's then sunglows. And he always seem to give me few hypo's. It also seems he gives more albino's and sunglows total then hypo's and hets.

I think that's pretty good. I guess you would prefer more glows but it's nice to get more albinos and glows than hypos and hets. :)

Mother nature, gotta love it. A very cool sight to see none the less, live birth is very neat.

You pay shipping and i will give you a nice 100% het albino with awesome laddertail for free. You have to own a boa if your a bp person. I'm still looking for the right bumble bee.
It would have to be in a few weeks, have to shed and feed. This litter will go to Joe from above post.

That is an amazingly nice gesture, I really wish I had a Bee for you though!!
Very cool of you to do Rich.

I'll send you a message and maybe we can try to figure something out. :)

That would be even better! lol

I love the tails. I guess everyone probably does though.

So does the het Albino do anything to the pattern? Are there some sort of markers that you boa breeders notice alot on het's or are they all just variable.

With ball pythons, some people believe strongly in some hets having markers at times, not all of them, but some of them.
(Het Pieds have lines under their tails, het Albinos seem to be lighter at times, etc.)

I honestly have only had 3 seasons and i am still learning. I think theres a better person to answer that.
But i have my opinion- They all are variable. I have 6 and all look different. They are all sisters from same litter too.
I think you can get circleback laddertails from any of the Columbians, even if het albino which mine are. I get at least 1 every year from different females.

They hypo takes away the pattern from circular patterns though and makes them into saddles? I think i got it right. lol

But,i have a couple circle back albino's in this litter also and have some big bold patterns. So,i dont know really for 100%.

congrats on the litter!

edit to add - re: hypo, I'm not quite sure what you mean? The genetics in hypo do tend to reduce saddle shape (make bowties) but it's not always the case.

Nope, albino doesn't affect pattern, only color. Some hets will have white scales (a few or a ton, almost calico like) but it's random and none of my hets have them. Boas are incredibly variable, much more so that BPs IMO.

That's a fair answer. It sounds pretty variable then. No big pattern or color changes do to the het. That's kinda what I think with balls too.

Well they are all beautiful either way. Variety is the spice of life for me though.

I hope your other clutches go nice and smooth also.
Fun days hanging with baby snakes. I'm jealous :D.

April,thank you very much
The hypo het albino's never have any circlebacks that i have seen. Hypo's reduce the over all pattern. I will keep one if i ever get a hypo that has a full pattern. That would be great.
Mine always have some kind of break in the pattern.

But,i will agree with you because i have albino's with complete circlebacks. So not sure why i never seen a hypo het albino with a circleback.
