    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would like to send her order of Dubia with a partial payment down and let her pay me the rest in time.

Any thoughts from people who have done business with Rene ? I see she has a great trader rating and this is why i would consider it.

How many roaches are you sending and what are you charging that this can't be done in one payment???
 
Me and Renae have worked together several times I bought from her she bought from me. And if she says she will pay. on a certain date she will I would have no problem working out a deal with Renae.

Actually you do. You opened a thread and divulged half the information already, so finish the deal. If you're not willing to divulge simple business details, don't make the thread. The door swings both ways, regardless of seller/buyer.

Also, it makes you both look weird that someone who sells dragons and other high-end lizards ($800-$1000) cannot complete a ROACH payment to begin with, so now I'm curious :rofl:

I don't understand why he would have to disclose any additional information regarding a private transaction, such as monetary value because he requested character reference from people she previous completed business with. I don't believe the "simple business details" have any relevance to how honorable she handled past commitments.

Way to ruin the pressure of having him disclose the details bro. You don't find it weird someone who charges into the quadruple digits sometimes can't complete a roach payment?????? I'm just curious is all. That's gotta' be a LOT of roaches.

I don't know the situation, but it's possible that she wants to pay half now and the other half once they arrive ALIVE. Roaches are not cheap either. It really doesn't matter why though. That's between the buyer and seller. He just wants to make sure she's trustworthy.

Not as weird as someone who comments on a inquiring thread about persons business transactions that never has done a transaction with the person, lol. Maybe she hasn't sold any of them quadruple digits animals or had a family emergency. There can be a million good reasons why this request was made but besides the seller & buyer it's none of them are anyone else's business. It killed the cat bro...

Any time you look to establish credit in a new business relationship, the credit limit IS important. So the dollar amount does matter. When I opened my first credit card account, it was not for a high limit. If you are a seller here or elsewhere, answer this question- if (as a new customer) I come to you asking for credit with half down on a $200 order, do you treat it the same or differently than if I ask for credit with half down on a $1,500 order? (Assuming there isno other credit check info available)

As much as I see your point I cant 100% agree. A thief is a thief just as much as a man of his word is a man of his word, no matter if it's regarding 20 dollars or 200 dollars. I do believe this has to be done within reason & common sense but to establish any credit some credit must be given, that's how business transactions become business relationships. One hand wash's the other.

The dollar amount for one person may or may not be as significant to another so what you consider a lot might be considered low to other or vice versa. It sound less like the op is looking for a acceptable figure to complete deals & more like he is asking if the person he is doing business with is capable & known as one to hold up there end of a deal.
 
Considering this is an inquiry thread and not a Bad Guy Thread with the intention of recovering stolen or mismanaged funds, it is no one's business but Rich's and Raene's what the dollar amount for this order is. It is also none of your business why Rich is willing to send an order on partial payment or why Renae is asking for it to be done this way.

If you have had good or bad dealings with her, fine, that's relevant, the price is not.

Whoever implied that they should know for the sake of future credit potential is assuming that a seller will grant everyone the same credit limit when this is rarely the case. Reputation, past dealings, how a person presents themselves -- these are all generally factors in determining if someone is going to be allowed credit or payment plans and the terms could vary from person to person.

If you think you can pressure me,your nuts !! I am not a little kid who can be pressured to divulge personal information about one of my possible customers. Or anyone elses for that matter.
 
Just to set it straight,i offered to send the dubia if she paid a decent chunk ahead of time.

I also told her i would post this thread ahead of time to make sure she is still in good standings with this herp community.

I got my answers and i will go through with this deal if she is still interested.
