In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What's the next best thing?

The "Next best thing"?

Sorry to sound like the newbie that I am, but where can I find info on all these morphs? I've just recently learned about the basic stuff.

What kind of info you looking for? Some of these boas are still new enough that not much is known.

Scoria boa - http://superiormorphs.wordpress.com/2009/06/11/the-scoria-boa-mystery/

The leucistic boa hit a dead end at one point, but just last month the first offspring was born, but it's pretty hush hush right now.

This is awesome! Thanks!

My favorite boa wasn't listed but voted anyway. The eclipse is my favorite, my two favorite boas in one, leopard motley. Which may produce an all red boa also, which is what I'm shooting for. Just hope they don't have problems like the super motley!. With so many different boas out there I don't think we've scratched the surface of things to come. Just my thoughts, thanks Daniel.

Has it been produced yet? Can't say I have heard of an eclipse.

On the front page of BlumenBoas.com is a picture of the hypo eclipse born this year. Gorgeous little thing :yesnod:

I still like their sugar pastels better though. I've been hoping they post some for sale soon. ;)

They are El Salvadorian X Colombian Motley boas. I don't know how to explain it more than that.

Leopard is a morph naturally occurring in El Salvadorian animals.

Chris Gilbert crossed them into Colombian Motleys. Leopard Colombian Motleys are just intensely black or colored because of the combination of the pattern mutations.

I don't believe there is that much more to actually explain, but I don't know genetics well either. I do think there is a difference between a first of it's kind genetic mutation & the combination of localities or known genetics to produce a new morph. I believe the "next best thing" all comes down to personal opinion anyway, but just to be safe we could do a test. Only because I care enough about you guys I'll take on the responsibility of deciding what is best, just send me 1 of each & I'll let everyone know.
