In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What's the next best thing?

The "Next best thing"?

Diem. We are dealing with a boa rookie. We all have been their. If we can't explain the way she needs then can we point her in a better direction?

I think I pretty much understand. It's not really a new morph, but a combo of two different locality? boas. Not sure if that's right, but it's the way I took it.

You got the idea. But. .. you did ask for more info. Just sticking up for ya.

Roswells are also mutts but considered a desirable morph.

I wasn't being rude, by the way, Jeremy, if it was misconstrued that way, I'm sorry, I'm just a blunt person.

Thanks. I'm new to boas, but luckily I understand genetics from breeding geckos. Right now I'm enjoying the info I've been reading about boas. They definitely fascinate me.

I didn't know that about roswells. Bummer since they look cool. I have so much to learn.

Let's make this more interesting. Name the combination of morphs you are excited about. For me, it would be a breeding of a Sterling marron to a super marron. Any ideas of what it would look like? :shrug01:

OR what about a breeding of a sterling hypo TH moonglow bred to a moonglow OR another TH moonglow? Banana boa? :shrug01:

Jeremy, this is my new thing that I want.

It is a yearling T+ Snowglow (Moonglow).

Bryant Tannery owns it.

I am really suprised this thread hasn't gotten anymore attention than it has. Seems like its been just me and Diem. :shrug01:

I'd love to join in more but sadly cant keep up. I never been the brightest crayon in the box & just dont think I understand genetics right. The animal above is amazing but sadly it's one of many I just dont understand. I'll use it for an example, maybe one of you cant help me out & tell me where I'm failing to grasp or why it's going right over my head.

"yearling T+ Snowglow (Moonglow)."

-I think Moonglow = hypo, anery, & kahl strain albino
-I think Snowglow = same as moonglow but Sharp strain

this is were I lose it...
I think T postive & think sharp albino with darker pigment but no black.

Here's what I dont get...
Is a T negitive the version of a kahl albino with tyrosinase?
Is it also a paradox, or is the black on that animal expected?
If the black is natural how did it get them beautiful blue eyes?
Does paradigm boa (use of Caramel hypo to sharp) plus anery have anything to do with creating animal above regarding the or am I just confusing myself more now?

I am with you Chris. Diem, do you know a little more about this?

T+ animals have black in them, that's why they are called T+.

It is not a paradox because, yes, it is expected.

The "T" in either T-Positive or T-Negative stands for "tyrosinaise". Tyrosinaise is one of the primary enzymes involved in making the black pigmentation (melanin) in a boa's skin. Generally, in albinism, there is a lack or negative amount of tyrosinaise, these animals are considered T-Negative. However, there is a mutation in some animals that allows some production of the tyrosinaise enzyme, this is why they can and do have black pigmentation throughout their body. It also alters the overall pigmentation of the animal itself (hence the blue/grey looking eyes rather than the usual purple/white ones seen in Moonglows).

Paradigm has nothing to do with the T+ Snowglow I posted. The same variation of the Paradigm is known as the Arctic Glow (Arctic is the name given to the Snow variant).

First boa is the Arctic and the second is the Arctic Glow
