In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have known both Kevin and Tammy for almost three years and I have bought healthy FERTILE corn snakes from them. They are always polite and answer any question I have asked honestly. I have never gotten a problem snake from them at all. When I inquire on a snake I am interested in they tell me all the good and bad of the snake such as fertility, genetics, feeding habits, etc. I breed corn snakes myself and I will only go to people that I have personal experience with dealing with. I have even been to their home to pick up my new snakes from them. There place is always spotless. They treat the snakes like a professional breeder should do. Honestly if there was an issue on any of the snakes they will tell anyone that inquired about it.

Honestly thats a he said she said and also I stated above I highly recommend Kevin and Tammy if you want good healthy snakes.

How is that a "he said, she said"?
They were upset that they could not get the snake to produce & tried to get a refund for the animal, then starting venting about it when their refund got denied.
***Not to mention, they also currently have the exact same snake listed for sale, but NO MENTION of the fact that they could not get the snake to produce & are trying to get close to full value for the snake***

it is when you get to it. they have rights on trying to sale that snake regardless to get some of what they paid back for it. When i inquired about her they told me and everyone that did she gave them trouble. they didn't try to sell that snake until it was denied refund. The snake would be a great pet or display snake but not a breeder. In-regards to that is it not okay for anyone to sell a snake they do not need that's taking up space? They didn't want to publicly point fingers at the person that sold that snake to them to cause bad blood. I have never had a problem with the snakes i purchased from them over the few years that i have known them. If i had a problem with one or needed info they keep records on all snakes and very detailed. They can still tell me what hets a snake carries what feeding habits etc after a snakes are sold from them. I trust them to sell me a good snake verses a problem snake.

My point is, that (readers digest version) they bought an adult female snake for a fair amount of money. They could not get the animal to produce & they tried to get a full refund back from the seller a couple years later. They were denied & they post a rant thread about it, not mentioning any names, but when someone asked who it was, they gladly provided the name because they feel others should be warned, therefor smearing the name of a well know, well respected person in the community. They list the snake for sale, saying it has not been bred, maybe someone else can get use of it **no mention that they failed to get the snake to produce over a couple years** & also mention in the ad how much they paid & that they want to get as close to that back as possible.
How is that not deceiving??

Tammy was just looking for some friends to talk to after 2 years, Some one presented themselves as a poor soul that needed to know for their own well being and swore they would keep it to them selves (liar) only to use it to start an attack. Whatever
Drama drama drama if anyone cares the truth is out on page 7 of the link and honesty and morals above dollars always!
Keep up the drama girls! Just keep it up drama drama drama but we are all to old for this!

One: they where honest - never bred

two: anyone pissed about something will always rant regardless. They where smart in not pointing fingers and also wanting advice on what they should do about it and what can be done.

three: Who doesn't want to try and get their money back the best they can from a failure?? They didn't say they wouldn't take a lower amount? Also They didn't ask for the exact amount they paid for her.

Four: They warned others of their experience, they did not at all tell them to never buy anything from said person.

where I am lost is how in hades is that distrust worthy when they have been up front about it?

By posting a public rant? If she was really just looking for friends to talk to, she can easliy PM her friends to do so. She took this public.
Of course people are going to ask who it is, so they can potentially avoid problems for themselves.
She offered not to say anything, but Tammy's reply was "Well I will because I feel like ppl do have the right to know" **Nothing was said by Tammy about wanting to keep that quiet. It comes across that she wanted the word to get out.

1)So it's ok for them to tell "white lies" because the snake never actually bred with their male(s), they don't need to disclose that they tried for a couple years & were unsuccessful on getting her to produce??

2)They did point fingers as soon as someone asked who it was.

3) who in their right mind is going to ask for a full refund a couple years later because they could not get an animal to breed? Like I mentioned before, unless a breeder specifically guarantees an animal to produce, it is common sense that you are taking a risk when you buy that animal, even if it had produced viable babies before. This is not just snakes, this is any animal used for breeding.

4) They tried to get others to believe that he doesn't have any morals or ethics. Even after reading the emails Kevin finally provided & all the the posts, it is clear that even after two years, John would have considered doing something for them, but when they demanded a full refund, including shipping after two years, he got mad (understandably so).

John owes nothing to to them, IMO.
It is unreasonable to expect a breeder to make good for an animal that doesn't produce, when there's no guarantee that any animal will produce.

Josh, this is done to give those who wish to have full information on that particular breeder/seller.
Wouldn't you want to know the good & the bad of someone's transactions before dealing with them?

A person may have generally good transactions, but have poor responses to something that has gone wrong.

No the point should be to allow a customer to post about a particular experience they had with others coming in and muddying the waters-so to speak. In this case it was a good experience. Why can the OP not post a positive review without immediately being told of a negative experience someone else had?

It's like if I go to Wal-Mart and find a great deal and have the most helpful cashier check me out and I go home and brag to my buddy about it just to turn around and have him say how much he hates them for one reason or another...do I really care? No, because I had a good experience and that was the point of this thread.

Here's another example...http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329927

I guess if you EVER get into a disagreement with someone one here you better just pack your bags.

I agree with this completely

I personally, would want to know that someone comes back two years later expecting a full refund on an animal that didn't produce, & then publicly rants about it, whether they name drop initially or not.

I for one would NOT want to do business with someone with such unreasonable expectations.

Agreed. All of the terms and guarantees made on the seller's business site were fulfilled. Nothing in this hobby comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The purpose of the BOI is allow readers to come to their own conclusions after reading about transactions both positive and negative concerning a particular buyer or seller.
I feel as if all posted experiences are relevant to a decision as to whether or not to do business with a particular person, and readers are entitled to see those experiences.

Am I the only one who thinks it was unnecessary to post this??

The OP made a BOI thread stating that THEY were happy with the transaction and then you make sure to point out that others have not been, why? Trying to stir the pot perhaps? I think so.

Agree this is not have anything to do with the original statement of the post, off topic.

Just drama starters

Agreed the boi allows them to do so hopefully after reading facts that have something to do with the actual post of the thread itself, not the partial crops and accusations of thespians. Careful careful tiptoe though the mud.
