In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy exar15xe and kitten0304 Awesome Folks

Yes Lucille, the point of BOI is to allow users to share their experiences, good or bad.

If you have a negative experience with a seller, make a thread about it. Do not go around in other people's threads talking trash. This thread was intended to be positive for the seller, why are you trying to take that away from them? It's none of my business what happened between them and someone else but in that particular case there was a thread started on that already, leave all the garbage there.

You are an instigator, plain and simple.

.

I can see from the post I linked, why you might hope that others would overlook it in their search.

Actually, if one reads the rules for posting on the BOI, it is stated that people should use existing threads whenever possible... so THIS shouldn't even be a separate thread.
This thread appears to be a simple case of a friend making a good guy post to distract from another thread that casts them in a poorer light.

Regardless, we can do without the bickering & banter about how people think things should be around here.

Agree this is not have anything to do with the original statement of the post, off topic.

Just drama starters

Actually the topic of this thread is your morals and business ethics. The original post may be from some one that views them in a positive light but that's just because you didn't try to drag their name through the mud or blame your short comings and inabilities on them while trying to deceive other potential buyers.

This particular BOI thread was only started because of what was brought to light about them, by their own doing.

The snake would be a great pet or display snake but not a breeder.

Oh, BS! There is NO proof that that snake cannot or will not breed successfully, given different circumstances, a different year, a different male. There is absolutely no reason to label her a "pet" at this point. I'd LOVE to take on that challenge...

Not to mention, who lists a Cornsnake (breedable size) for $750 if they honestly think it's only "pet quality" unless they're being dishonest?

muddy water

I too think it is uncalled for to add a link from a negative or unfavorable BOI to a postive one. Its like saying a person no matter what they do is unable to turn a new leaf or change. If people do a BOI search and can see all of the individual different transactions it gives a better track record and history of the seller/buyer. Its also unfair to the individual that people on here go grave digging and bring up old stuff anytime their names come up. When is it enough?

Does the "good experience" of a person admitted to be a friend outweigh a subject's efforts against another breeder? Everybody is welcome to their own opinion regarding the actions of the subjects. This topic could have been (should have been) included in the other thread; but the OP wanted to make sure there was a good guy thread with there name in the title. Should interested parties be denied the information in that thread because a friend started this one? I don't believe so. IMO, that display was much more revealing.
You can argue that a search would bring up both, but it would fall flat - searches are very dependent on approach and keyword.

Have you given any deep thought as to how that would work in practice? You are claiming that once a "good guy" thread has begun, then any contrary evidence is prohibited from being posted there? So, no disputing someone's initial claims will be permitted? Only posts that agree with and support that initial statement will be allowed?

In a similar vein, then, what about "bad guy" threads? Couldn't the same argument be made that once a "bad guy" thread has been started, then no contrary evidence would be permitted to refute the claim? Wouldn't the starter of such a "bad guy" thread have just as much right to the way they WANT that thread to proceed as someone who starts a "good guy" thread?

You feel it would be acceptable the WE delete all posts made that provide evidence contrary to the initial claim in a thread in this forum? And that would not compromise the accuracy of the sum total of all claims made about someone?

Seriously? You think that your plan would be workable? Much less fair? That your plan would be a better method of trying to reach the TRUTH in these matters?
