Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Evan Stahl STAY AWAY!

For what it's worth, I've bought a few animals from Evan. He's been nothing but professional, and the snakes I bought have been perfect. That's just my experience. One might also consider his reputation and trader rating on this site.

With how the OP responds, Id not give jack back and wash my hands of it.

Whether evan is in wrong or not, you catch more bees with honey, and any customer that spoke to me like that would be ignored indefinitely.

Me and evan have had our problems over many years, but we have NEVER spoke that way against one another
 
Evan is someone I have known for many many years and is a very trusted individual in my book.
He is by far one of the most understanding folk when dealing with ignorant stupid individuals [this I have witnessed at many shows].
The possibility is that Evan sent the wrong snake albeit a better looking one by the pics, but if he said he sent the correct one he did....
Zenny kinda sounds like a keyboard cowboy....thumping away at the keys...biting his tongue....breaking his nails...making vieled threats and then bonifide threats.....
just a lil insight towards Evans character....he apologised to me thinking he was a bit short with my son at the last taylor show...I passed on the apology and John mathew ...he said it wasn't even necessary.....
The thing about Evan he tells it like it is and Zenny could not handle it.....as far as scamming....well looks like the customer is not allways correct

Well alrighty then. That email just switched this lurker from the OP's side to
Evans. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable no matter how you feel you got treated or shafted. And I dont think Ive seen proof yet that you did in fact agree on a particular snake. Evans story seems very plausible without that to back the OP up. I would just ship it back and be done with it.
 
Yeah, I was on the OP's side until I read that PM. I wouldn't touch this guy with a 10 foot pole now. Actually I'm not on either of their sides on this point. Sounds like poor communication from both of them. Would like to see some screenshots of conversation that led to this snake being shipped out though.

You have chosen not to post the emails you say you have, that may serve to back up your assertions. Your choice, but your reputation is dwindling given what we have seen.
 
i didnt come here to make friends, or get people to side with i came here to share a terrible experience with Evan stahl... thats it... he came here trying to make me look like a liar and i got highly upset

Facts:

-He sent out snake then sent me an email once the animal was already in transit!

-he sent me the wrong snake... denied that he did... offered the animal to someone else

i sell snakes all the time... i ship snakes overseas... i would never treat a customer the way he treated me/spoke to me

another poster shared a link with another experience...


i lost my temper and cursed him out YEP! i make zero apologies for doing so!

i sent out one email early monday morning; got 2 short replies shortly after that i didnt like... when i tried to send another it kept getting bounced back/unsent ... emailed my boss right after that and the emails went thru... seems like i was blocked on his end to me

At this point, I would ignore you too. You were hostile from the beginning and thats now how you handle situations like this.


Dont worry you lost a lot of customers and a lot of people will refuse to sell to you just to avoid the issue of your attitude.

From what I can see, Evan started the hostility. Why should the customer take his word that he's being sent the "nicer one" when he wanted a specific snake? Evan is acting like the customer is lucky he deigned to sell a snake to him.

I dont know the person you filed the complaint against- at all, I am a third person looking in and as that outsider looking in I have a bit of advice. Stop being a jerk. Its not hard to be rational, you come off as an arrogant 14 year old angst filled school boy with a foul mouth and even worse manners. Its not hard to see the entire time through your own submitted screen shots that you were a jerk. I wouldnt ever want to deal with you, paying customer or not.

You have the right to your opinions... I asked to share private conversations with a friend ... I did... The language I use when I talk to my friend it btwn h and I... I cause out ES because I felt like it at he moment... I'm telling things as they are... U want me to b happy about this? I don't think it's your place to tell me how I should react to this situation I did what I did.. And said what I said and that's it... I initially approached him professionally...


I didn't expect a resolution I was offering an xperience with a horrible seller ... point blank... Now I'm on trail for cursing him out? I'd do it again in a heartbeat...
 
Am I just missing the part where the customer threw the first punch? I wouldn't deal with either of them at this point, but it seemed to me that the customer was fairly polite when he realized he had been sent the wrong snake.

The PM he sent Evan just recently was out of line, and the discussion with the friend isn't impressive either, but I don't see where in the emails the customer was being a jerk? :confused:
 
I'd really like to see a better pic of the snakes head at the same angle. I can see a weird face on the head in both pics, but the far away pic is hard to see and the snake is positioned differently.
 
I think there are differences in the main body pattern too though - in the original pic for sale the bands look kind of alternately distributed to me - one wide, one narrow, while the one he was sent seems to be more regularly spaced.

Thanks. I hate trying to see differences when pics look nothing alike. That helps.
