    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy NEVER BUY FROM JTK REPTILES(BRYAN CHO) FROM LONG BEACH

Btw, did you file a police report? You must have some records of purchasing the animals. Also, as a partner you have some responsibility for the care and maintenance of the reptiles. Perhaps someone needs to notify animal control especially if the conditions are so deplorable.
 
He says Bryan is supposed to be his partner, but he (OP) is the one who's spent all the money and seen nothing.

Oddly, OP has posted a couple dozen ads here...I guess he hasn't seen any of the income.

Apparently, the reptile room is in a garage that's too hot, thereby cooking some of the animals.

Clearly, the OP is the innocent victim he is portraying himself to be :rolleyes: .
 
Somehow, I have difficulty viewing him as a innocent victim. Legally, I believe that animal abuse charges can be brought against his partner and him. Especially if they have access to this forum and view his statements and posted ads. Unfortunately, this is a blemish that will or can impact the future of our hobby.

I would sue the school that you went to. Clearly they haven't earned whatever monies were given to them.
 
In order for us, as a community, to even begin to help, we need all the facts, proof, etc.
So far, there is a handful of texts telling you, along with pictures, that a few animals died, and some blurry shots of a garage full of reptiles in cages.

You said you cannot file a police report because you have no receipts... but it sounds like you have quite a few emails and texts correct? Emails (please correct me someone if I'm wrong on this) can function as legit signatures and receipts.

Please post ALL emails, texts and such that you have for the entire length you did business with him. This will hopefully help to clarify the situation to us and see how best to help.

Also, yes, you most certainly can file a report on him, at the very least for animal abuse if you have proof to show them and have someone come out to take a look from animal control. If anyone has more specific suggestions on this, I know some have had to do this so it would be appreciated.

On the flip side, I would like to know if the breeder has been notified of the thread as there is often times, 2 sides to every story.
I also would like to know how 40k in specifically student loans was authorized to be used for non-school related items and animals. From what I was told back when I had them, they were super strict about where those funds would go and they demanded receipts.

You need to post all proof (as I stated earlier in this post) period that you have, as proof will only further help your case. Just a handful of pictures and stating some animals died isn't going to really show us what you paid for, what went on and such.

I'm back in college now and dealing with financial aid. #1 There's no way you used scholarship money, it goes directly to the school. #2 There's no way you got 40,000 in loans. Even Harvard doesn't cost that much for one semester and it would be pretty hard to accumulate that much in tuition refunds which is the only other way you could do it. You may be telling the partial truth, but definitely not the whole truth. Post your proof if you have it.

Agreed. I only have pity in this situation for the reps being kept like this. God knows how many died because of stupid reasons like "its too hot". from the pics in the screen shot the op posted showing the garage it barely looks like he even has room to properly clean and service all of the enclosures.

I reckon if OP was really in it for the animals than he would have stopped supporting his animal abusing partner and not continue to send him $$.

as others have said, sounds like there's a lot more information to this story.
 
there are alot of worthless jerks making dumb comments , on here , obviously the guy is typing and made some mistakes , so let's just stone him for it

Couldn't agree more. Noone with any kind of brain is going to feel sorry for this guy. I think he's definitely added a lot of BS to the story he's telling here.
 
Seen this and thought I'd chime in, I have personally witnessed the conditions of those poor animals and it was disgusting! I had tagged along with a friend to pick up rats for her albig and short after arriving it was a horrible site!

The garage is small the smell was rancid and I could barely breath, the photos posted by the op doesn't show just hot bad the conditions were those poor animals were in. To start evey cage had no water there were alps a lot of flys inside the cages everything was on molded aspen bedding and what looked like some sort of left strips inside the cages with the animals. The rats. We're exposed to the elements with only house fans as a "cooling system" which saw as pointless because they were just sitting on a hot concert driveway.


To the op, if you met this guy and toured his facility "garage" why would you think it'd he a great I deal to do business with this guy? Ever heard the saying "everything that glitters ain't gold?

1st thing I'm sorry for you loss 2nd don't bad mouth people without anything to back it up. 3rd everyone loses its part of the game. when you just give up is the only why you really lose.
