Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Long story short:

Sent money to purchase 1600g Female Enchi Fire
Received a 1200g Male Possible Yellowbelly

First picture is the Enchi Fire girl
Second & Third pictures are the male something?

Tried calling, texting, etc - no responses, no voicemail

This is a bait and switch scam - buyers beware!!!

Spoke to this :censored: several times, in detail, extensively, he knows his snakes, not some newbie wish washer. Looks like he just keeps changing his name and suckering idiots like me.

Lesson learned, do a BOI on every bit of contact information you gather from people. I did not do BOI on the Paypal account.
 
Unfortunately, it has come to doing that...or simply not dealing with unknown people that don't offer verifiable references.
 
hey guys M name is Ron. I saw the same add from "Lamar", and ordered two snakes yesterday. When they did no arrive today he gave an reasonable sounding excuse, but some
thing did not sit right with me. So I looked at fauna, and low and behold I saw your post. I seem to have been able to stop the payment and I have filed claims with both paypal and Wells Fargo. Wanted to say thanks to yall, especially Robert, for the post
 
Brian, I still see his profile and some ads on Fauna now. Someone has "banned" his account now - thanks to someone!:thumbsup:

He texted me today and played dumb as I called him a scammer. He said he would call to discuss things, surprise surprise... no phone call.
 
When you deal with a person like this it is hard to know what is reliable info versus made up.

I'll assume all the names are made up and all the addresses he provided are fake too. What is 100% certain:

1. Someone physically sent me the "bait and switch" package yesterday at:
Per FedEx website - "5:42 pm Picked up NEWBURGH, NY
2. The phone number: 845-518-5272, worked at some point.
3. The email: [email protected], worked at some point
4. He collects funds from Paypal from: [email protected]

All the usernames, addresses, etc are unreliable.
This person has too much knowledge about our industry to be unknown to someone up in that area. The other BOI reports have him in Poughkeepsie, NY...18 miles away from the FedEx in Newburgh, NY.

People can't delete their profiles on this site. It's still there, and he has been online today - you can find his username in the 24 hr list at the bottom of the index page (if you look before it passes the 24 hr mark, that is). If you really want to see his profile, click this link

When I click on your link I see it, when I search I get "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." Is it possible he has me blocked somehow? The guy only lives about 20 or so miles from me and I told everyone in the area about him so he avoids me at all costs.

I find it in search fine...you have to search for usernames, not just in the search box above...
try:
go to search and use the drop down menu for advanced search...then search his screen name under usernames

I am not positive, since I have never tried to block anyone but I do not think you can block someone on fauna (at least to the extent to where they disappear)

Is it just me or does the first pic look like only a fire? It doesn't look like any enchi I have seen. Maybe it's the angel of the pic, but I just don't see enchi.
