    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you drink Mountain Dew or eat Doritos then I am in need of your help! I am attempting to win an XboxOne via a promotion that Mountain Dew and Doritos are sponsoring and need as many codes as possible to do so.

The codes can be found on bottle caps, inside 12/24 packs, and inside bags of Doritos. If you have any codes you are just going to throw away I would love to have them! All I need you to do is email ([email protected]) or PM me the code or a picture of the code. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide!

If this is not appropriate for this thread please let me know, this seemed the most fitting place for a general posting.

Some days I feel so old. I still have my Atari and original Nintendo....and I don't even know what's knew or a remake of the old one.

I wasnt calling gaming or contests stupid, but the fact that gaming has become so infused into pop culture, and continues to become more and more expensive and commercialized is pissing me off. What happened to the days when you could just buy a game and play it ? Now its subsciptions, constant patches that arent worth a damn, etc, etc ;_;

It may be ridiculous to you, but for some it's a great hobby.

Just like keeping and breeding reptiles is one of mine.

yeah I agree, a lot of it sucks but I'll still pay for my Xbox Gold and my monthly WoW, the entertainment I get out of it is enough value for the dollars (for now).

A few years back when I broke my leg my wife got me a PS3. I played 5 min worth of games on it. I use it as a media server in bedroom now. Amazon Prime movies and tv and downloaded video. Too many dang buttons for me to play today's games, lol.

No kidding. I try to play call of duty or something like that and I just end up spinning in circle firing my weapon until I run out of ammo then my nephew sneaks up behind me and shanks me. I think he killed me about 217 times during 1 game and never fired his weapon. He said he was trying to be fair. I remember having a hard time figuring out the first Madden games, now, forget it.

LOL, Yeah my son had me with him in one of those shoot em up/ Sniper games. I'd get killed, reappear, get killed, reappear, get killed, Fun times...lol
 
I suck at all the newer games but I not allowed cola by wife. plus since I cant find employment still I cant afford games or a new system. spending my time cleaning and looking for some kind of job my gimpy butt might be able to do.
