    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not the best pics. Landlord just got done putting in the patio so it was a little dirty outside. Some pics show the pattern and others the color. Sorry for all this pics. Its hard to catch a big boa in 1 pic or maybe I'm just that inexperienced.

I don't keep up on boa morphs like I used to so not familiar with Raptor, but those are beautiful boas and yes! It can be so difficult to get *good* full body shots of adults! I know that pain!

Thanks! I think they're beautiful also. You can go here http://www.reptileinsider.com/showthread.php?28568-Breeding-SuperRaptors/page3 for a little thread on them or just go to the reptile report for more threads.

My main goal is a color morph of the Super Raptor.

I read the thread, so this is one of those morphs from Europe right? I think the "Kubush Pastel" is from over there too? So it says it's proven as incomplete dom but I didn't see enough breedings/results posted... maybe the info is elsewhere? (I generally ignore reptile report, it just compiles info and provides links to other sites as far as I could tell). I can't tell from the info provided if it actually is dom or just a line bred circleback/laddertail trait. I hope it proves out for you!

There are more breeding trials on the raptorboa website. He even has videos. Raptors do originate in Europe.

I've been out of the loop for a while too. You say you are looking to get into "super" raptors. So these are Co-dominant? Or are you using the term to mean homozygous? Just asking because the term super is so over used these days it creates more confusion than it's worth. Used to be used to describe a homozygous Co-Dominant trait only.

But those are some good looking Boas. Always had a thing for full circles and connected saddles.

Richard, yes Raptors are Co-Dominant. Two Raptors bred together will result in a Super Raptor with new skin. A Super Raptor bred to a normal will result in all Raptors. (hope I said that right). I just came into this in 09 so "super" was already the "used" term. So I guess the correct term would be visual hets because the Dominant form has a different look.
