    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't believe he exists. If I am wrong, then the reason Carson isn't responding here is because he's busy writing that bad guy thread on Steve. Wink wink

Carson, it is tough to start a new thread when you are viewing this one. In the event that you start a thread on Steve whoever, it would behoove you to be prepared with at least a few facts. For instance, what afress did you send the police to? What were the contact numbers you used to talk to Steve? If his phones were cut off after a few months, how did you know he lost a clutch the next year? Good luck

I did the same thing as soon as Carson dropped the name Steve Miles. I'm pretty ingenious with search engines and came up empty handed.
 
I have to admit I am mystified by this thread. Carson has a terrific rep and with high end critters that have sold relatively recently according to his Good Guy threads.
Pieces of this puzzle are missing.

Just my 2 cents, I've had dealings with Carson for far more than 3000 dollars and have never had a bad experience with him. He has always delivered what he said and when.
A stand up guy as far as I'm concerned
 
I've never heard of Steve Miles. For what it's worth, $3000 for a visual pair and a pair of het scaleless corns seems absurdly low. Especially 3 years ago. I bought my visual as a yearling from BHB in Daytona in 2012 for $5,500 and a pair of hets for $2,500. Reptilis (from France) was also down there with them in the same price range. Not that it changes the equation one way or the other, but I would have expected a single visual hatchling to be higher than 3k.

Carson, please don't take any of this as a personal attack but to lay everything out for you there is a Bad Guy thread on Fauna with your name on it. It would be to your benefit to prove your innocence via screenshots, bank statements, PDF documents from your attorney, contact information from Mr. Miles of South Carolina, Ad nauseum.

I know I would post so much proof if I were the accused people in the discussion would get sick of my posting. You shouldn't just say "It's handled folks. Nothing to see here. Move along."

I wish you the best in turning this BOI thread into a good guy testament to you.

This happen almost 2 years ago

I moved on

It was my mistake and getting taken care of and that's all that matters

I was burned no ones else's problem but mine

I've bin in this reptile business for a very long time and I had my small shares of non sense and I never post it on here

It's not worth my time

All that matter is that guy is taken care of

I can post 1000 things about Steve miles and its not gonna get the money back

If I told guy to pound sand then I'm in the wrong

I didn't
If there wasn't 10 inches of snow on the ground he would be picking up a package at the airport today

If you could post one thing about Steve Miles you WOULD, but you can't. Until you can prove that Steve is more than just a made up character, your integrity will remain in question with regard to other people's money. You have avoided any shred of proof. If there is no Steve Miles, then the buck stops with you.
 
Carson stated that Steve's phones were shut off after a few months of contact. Guy stated that Carson's excuse the next year was that Steve lost a set of eggs in the incubator due to a hurricane. HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU COULDN'T CONTACT HIM?

No one seems to have heard of Steve Miles. You make not recover this money by posting particulars, but you might help someone else that might be thinking of doing business with him. You did say you would put up a Bad Guy thread about him.

Certainly just showing he exists would be helpful.

And he said ok that works for me
Well the male didn't breed this past season
He's breeding now (go figure)
So I said instead of the ultramel stuff
I have a banana a super stripe
He said ok that works this was all done via phone

So I told him the banana just hatched do u want it now or after it hasn't eaten a few times

He stated lets wait til it feeds

Since then I haven't heard from him and the banana and super stripe are here and ready to go

Carson, perhaps you could just explain one thing absent from your (in)"complete breakdown". You said "I received a call on some scaleless corns". Just like that, out of the blue, from someone you don't know who happened to have your phone number?

What is your purpose of keeping this going Chris Kennard? It's done and over from what I can see and I think anyone who knows Caron would agree

Carson does indeed have an awesome rep. But it is to his advantage to offer explanation about Steve Miles and Carson said he would start a thread about him.
The explanation of being burned by someone selling a particular kind of extremely expensive and high end corn snakes that no one has heard of needs more explanation, it does not pass the smell test right now.
 
Just saying Lucille, I think Caron deserves the benefit of the doubt. If he says he will post a bad guy thread on Steve Miles then maybe we should wait before trashing his reputation on an open forum! Just my humble opinion for what it is worth.
