By the way people making silly coments on this thread. This is not a laughing matter. Animal is dead, I am out a lot of time and money, Do you people really think I would spend all this time on this thread, to make up a story. Get real. I am only doing this so this guy (Keith) does not do this to any else. Again I will state I don't want a turtle or money from him. I just don't want Keith to get away with doing this to people. The best way is BUYER BE WARE.

Sounds personal and vindictive. You don't want a turtle or money. In other words, the only satisfaction ypu will accept is his burial even after he offered a resolution when most people would not, given the time frame. Just my opinion.

I wasn't just referring to his ability to tend to his animals. I agree with you there. Something doesn't seem right here. I have a problem with someone saying they don't care about a resolution, in so many words. Seems vindictive. I'm not so sure that a vet bill will prove negligence on the accused to boot. Like to here more on the shot given by the vet. Could it have caused harm?

The turtle, if as young as Cantore has claimed, I would say yes, a Vit. A shot could have caused possible harm. Sandy Barnett is a well respected turtle keeper (author, Senior Herpetologist at the Baltimore Aquarium, served for several years on board of directors for the Mid-Atlantic Turtle & Tortoise Society, and is permitted by the state of MD to legally rehab wild turtles). She has has noted that "injectable preparations can easily induce a fatal hypervitaminosis if the animal is not actually suffering from a vitamin A deficiency or the amount administered is too high." Additionally she recommends that if a vet has determined that Vit A injection is necessary, that oil-based solution be used instead of water-soluble solutions which are more likely to cause toxicity in the turtle.

In my opinion it would be extremely difficult to work out a safe weight based dosage on such a tiny animal as a month old snapping turtle. We are talking about a turtle that weighs but a few grams and a using a solution where one is using like a fraction of a drop of liquid so to speak. Then one must consider the size of the the needle which could potentially/easily puncture something vital.

I want to see a picture that the animal is actually dead... And a pic that you even had said animal in the first place. And I do think you would take the time to post even if it wasn't legit, people have posted stuff before and it wasn't... You've yet to show a shred of proof and make excuses as to why you can't. Post the evidence and stop stalling... I am by no means taking up for albinocollector... I'm just tired of seeing you guys post he said he said nosense and NO PROOF of anything.... I don't expect or even want an apology from Keith. Facts are facts and I could not care less about some kid insulting me. The old "get a life" crap just made me laugh ... like I (and other BOI followers) haven't heard it before.

Even if John B. is questionable, as I feel he is ... Keith is also questionable, volatile, defensive and too self-centered.

Both are to be avoided.

I have 2 alligator snapping turtles that were born in Sept of this year. I just had to take one to the vet and get it some antibiotic shots. I have to use insulin needles to inject the shot. And I have to give it in its leg on the backside. I have also had to take my big snapper to the vet and get shots for it too. They were given in the same spot. My ally snappers are only 17 grams in weight and they had to get the dose down really small so that it would not hurt/kill it. I also got Vit A for mine, but it was to be given by mouth not shot and it was given in the smallest dose as to not hurt/kill the turtle. I have been giving it shots for a week now with no problems and its still eating and active

thats good you dont expect a Apalogy out of me cause I most def wont give one to someone who is Ignorant and Judgmental and has nothing better to do then dig up peoples past to rejudge them !! Im a very truthfull person and bruitally Honest !!! yes some people dont like it but to bad you think you can try and bad mouth people and expect nothing to come of it ?? Hell would freeze over before I would stand back to anyone that takes stabs at Me . Specially over this I proved I shiped animal over 2 months ago to a guy who tried scammin me of a free one . Now we know why He had to wait to post PICS He took this turtle to the Vet yesterday as next to the Meds labeled shows the 16th !!! that part of the bill will say when it was prescribed as the corner of page can some times be diffrent do to date of when faxed or resent !! NO PICS of dead turtle either ?????? IM curious if it alive just went to Vet yesterday is this turtle dead not that it matters in MY arguement since I was not responsible for this animal since Oct 9th . I know and you know, when you handled that animal you knew its condition. I also knew by your attitude, I would have gotten nowhere. Im sorry John but you didn't do your best if you've had it for months and just took it to the vet yesterday... That's just some craziness coming out of your mouth right there........... I think you're just mad you're out some money.... As stated before I'm not taking up for the seller, but John that Vet bill doesnt make you look good. You did very little IMO to save it. Now I want to see a pic of the DEAD turtle AND when it was ALIVE....

To everyone else Sorry for getting Mouthy but you all should think before you post just liek I should !!! dont come here to dig up Unrelated Dirt on someoen when you know nothing about Facts of any of the cases !! and dont bash people when you dont have facts cause you wouldnt do it in person so dont do it here . Anything I say or do Id do it in person to ones face cause I simply dont do it if I dont know its true or facts !! and I expect in person the possibilty of a physical fight !! however when shoving truth in peoples faces its 99% chance that person eats it and walks away mad . Yea its every bit true I been to prison 3 times and not 1 was for scamming or doing anyone wrong !! and 1 was for something I didnt honestly do and I refused to testify and was dragged down hard for it Nothing here proves me a Bad GUY for My trades or deals . and believe this everyone of you here who has owned a few reptiles has bought 1 that has somewhere down the lines been sold or Imported from a EX CON whos been to prison so all that Bashin MY past is ridiculous the Biggest Importers in this country and best dealers Many have been to prison IM not naming names but I personally know many . so keep that in mind .
